A December 2025 guide reports earlier Jackal PDW nerfs, including reduced damage range, but does not connect that history to this headline. It also provides no evidence for the claim that fans are “in shambles.”
Which Black Ops 6 weapon is being nerfed?
That is not established by the information available for this headline. No matching official patch note or source identifying the alleged weapon was found, so naming one would be speculation.

The Jackal PDW is a possible point of confusion, not a confirmed answer. Beebom’s December 31, 2025 meta guide describes earlier nerfs to the Jackal PDW, including a reduction to its damage range. It does not say that the Jackal is the subject of a new change.
What exactly is changing, and when?
No specific statistic, affected mode, effective date, or official statement about this alleged nerf is established. The historical damage-range reduction reported for the Jackal PDW should not be presented as a new adjustment.

What does the December 2025 guide say about Black Ops 6’s weapon meta?
Beebom’s guide covers the weapon meta and historical tuning, and assessed major further balance updates as unlikely after the release of Black Ops 7. That was a dated secondary-source outlook, not an official confirmation that updates had stopped. It cannot establish Black Ops 6’s balance-update status in October 2026.
