Treyarch’s Season 02 patch-notes page is a dated log of updates through March 14, 2025, covering Global, Multiplayer, and Zombies changes. For Warzone’s detailed changes, use its separate patch-note stream: the seasonal overview points there rather than treating the Black Ops 6 log as a complete Warzone record.
The distinction matters: the January 22 season announcement describes content planned for the season, while the dated patch notes record specific updates, fixes, and corrections.
Season 02 dates and patch-note coverage
Call of Duty Staff published the Season 02 overview on January 22, 2025, and said the season would go live January 28 at 9 AM PT. Treyarch’s patch-notes page is a running log, not just a launch-day changelog: its listed entries span Season 02 and Season 02 Reloaded, ending with a March 14 entry.

What the season announcement said was coming
The January 22 announcement outlined the season’s planned content across Multiplayer, Zombies, Warzone, and shared content. These are season-level previews; the dated patch log is the better reference for whether a particular update later changed or corrected something.
Multiplayer
The announcement listed five maps across the season: Bounty, Dealership, and Lifeline at launch, followed by Bullet and the return of Grind. It also previewed Overdrive, Gun Game, and limited-time modes.

Zombies
The overview highlighted The Tomb, the Death Perception perk, new GobbleGums, the Shock Mimic enemy, and the Staff of Ice Wonder Weapon. It also announced Co-op Pause and AFK Kick Loadout Recovery as quality-of-life features.
Warzone
The overview described gameplay tuning, quality-of-life work, and bug fixes, while noting that some content originally planned for Season 02 had shifted in priority toward foundational improvements. Areas it named included reload and weapon-swap speeds, jump mechanics, parachute transitions, audio clarity, default perks, equipment count, body-shield behavior, buy-back flare pinging, and Ranked Play SR requirements and deployment fees. For the actual dated Warzone changes, follow the separate notes linked from the season announcement.

Notable dated changes in the patch log
February 21: weapon tuning, Ranked Play, and fixes
Treyarch said some planned Season 02 Reloaded weapon-tuning changes had not behaved as expected. The February 21 Global entry listed adjustments for the GPR 91, Feng 82, SWAT 5.56, Tsarkov 7.62, AEK-973 Full Auto attachment, and Sniper Rifle Fast Mag. It also recorded Under Barrel Crossbow changes, with an additional ammunition increase still forthcoming at that point.
The same Global entry said Ranked Play SR had not been awarded or deducted as expected shortly after Reloaded launched, and that a fix was in place on February 20. In Multiplayer and Zombies, the Challenge Tracker widget was re-enabled in menus; a Bullet 24/7 playlist was added; the Ranked Play forfeit vote was changed from tap to hold; and a Zombies pause crash was fixed.

February 26: interface and mode-specific corrections
The Global and Multiplayer notes included Gunsmith and reticle fixes, controller scrolling through up to 10 tracked Challenges, a Ranked Play restriction change for the Jackal PDW Recoil Springs Fire Mod, and UI and stability fixes.
The Zombies entry recorded a Liberty Falls door-buy fix, a fix for dedicated melee in the downed state, and corrections to Bo Staff and TR2 camo challenge progress, alongside UI, graphics, and stability fixes.

March 11: D1.3 Sector and other Multiplayer updates
Treyarch adjusted the D1.3 Sector Ricochet Blades to 100 damage, with a lower rate of fire and projectile velocity and improved bounce physics. The dated entry also included a Bullet sliding-door change, the return of Infected in Private Matches after a spawn fix, and fixes involving Tracker, challenges, and Zombies.
March 14: Belt-Fed attachment
The Global update changed the Belt-Fed attachment so it takes more rounds to overheat and dissipates heat faster. It also removed the base LMG ADS firing movement-speed penalty while the attachment is equipped.

The official notes state the changes but do not provide independent testing or measurements of their effect on match outcomes. Treat numerical values such as the D1.3 Sector’s 100 damage as patch specifications, not as broader performance statistics.
