When did Black Ops 6 Season 3 start?
Activision scheduled the Black Ops 6 Season 03 update for April 2, 2025, at 9 a.m. PT, covering Multiplayer, Zombies and general content. Warzone was set to be unavailable for 24 hours before returning with Verdansk on April 3 at 9 a.m. PT. The publisher also announced a 24-hour free trial of Multiplayer and Zombies during that countdown; that was an announcement-era offer, not a current trial offer.

The split schedule matters: Verdansk’s return was part of the Warzone launch on April 3, not the April 2 Black Ops 6 update. Activision described the returning map as rebuilt from the ground up and said it retained around 95% of the 2020 map’s play space, with light landscape adjustments and quality-of-life changes. That percentage was the publisher’s characterization, not an independent measurement. The return event was announced with 20 free rewards.
What was in the Season 3 Multiplayer roadmap?
Activision announced five Multiplayer maps and one 6v6 variant across the season. The roadmap distinguished the launch maps from the mid-season additions:

The April 2 lineup and later content were part of the announcement schedule. Season 03 Reloaded’s May 1 announcement specifically listed Haven and Signal, Joint Operations, and Vendetta.
What was new in Zombies?
Shattered Veil was the season’s new Zombies map. Activision’s roadmap also previewed enemies, Wonder Weapons, the return of Double Tap, and additional map content. For mid-season, it listed Zombie Snacks as a limited-time mode and Frost Blast as a Field Upgrade.

Which weapons were announced?
Six weapons were slated across the season, but the announcement did not present all six as launch-day additions. Four were detailed at the roadmap reveal, while two were listed for later in the season.

What changed in Warzone during Season 3 Reloaded?
The May 1 Reloaded update highlighted Verdansk additions including a moving train and High Value Loot Zones. These accompanied the update’s new Multiplayer maps and Joint Operations mode, but the Warzone return itself had been scheduled for April 3.

What did the Battle Pass and operator roadmap include?
The announcement described free and premium Battle Pass tiers with items such as weapon blueprints, operator skins, calling cards, finishing moves and emotes, and also promoted BlackCell. Season headliners named in the roadmap were R0-Z3, Hudson and Mace. Jay and Silent Bob and other bundles were described as Store offerings. These details record what Activision announced for Season 03; they do not establish current Battle Pass or Store availability.
