Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 04 Reloaded launched on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 9 a.m. PT across all platforms. The midseason update brought back the reimagined Fringe, added the new Eclipse map, and introduced earnable weapons, attachments, and content for Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. It is a past update: Treyarch’s Season 05 Reloaded notes say that follow-up arrived September 4, 2025.
When did Black Ops 6 Season 4 Reloaded come out?
Activision’s June 26, 2025 announcement said Season 04 Reloaded would arrive Wednesday, July 2, at 9 a.m. PT across all platforms. Treyarch’s July 1 patch notes corroborated the date, describing the update as arriving the following day.
This is a retrospective guide, not a countdown: Treyarch’s Season 05 Reloaded notes, dated September 3, 2025, say that update arrived September 4.
What maps were added?
Fringe returned as a reimagined Core map
Fringe, first seen in Black Ops 3, returned in a reimagined form as a medium-sized Core 6v6 map. Its setting is a distillery in the rolling hills, with combat areas including the Bar, central Road, Barn, House, and Loading zone. It is a returning map, not a new original map.

Eclipse was the new Strike map
Eclipse was the update’s new small Strike map, supporting both 6v6 and 2v2. Set in an underground nightclub in Avalon, it features a central dance floor and routes past dining tables, the DJ Booth, and Coat Check.
Cel-shaded playlists used familiar maps
The update also brought cel-shaded treatments of existing maps, rather than additional new base maps. CODtoons Moshpit featured Nuketown, Babylon, Skyline, Stakeout, and Grind; Party Ops used the same lineup except Stakeout. These were playlist offerings tied to the update, and their current availability is not established.

What weapons and attachments arrived?
The Beavis & Butt-Head event Free Track included two earnable weapons: the Olympia Special and the Pickaxe melee weapon. Activision identified the Olympia as the Free Track mastery reward. The update also listed two special attachments: the SVD Full Auto Mod and the TR2 CQB Auto Conversion.
The Olympia and Pickaxe were event-track rewards, while the SVD and TR2 items were attachments—not additional base weapons. The announcement describes what players could earn during the event; it does not establish that the rewards remain obtainable now.

What else was in the update?
Season 04 Reloaded included content across Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone, but these mode-specific additions should not be confused with Multiplayer maps or weapons.
- Zombies: The announcement highlighted the Grief, Abomination Challenge, and Starting Room limited-time modes.
- Warzone: The update included features such as Door Barricade and Loot Master.
- Events: Beavis & Butt-Head and CODtoons provided the cartoon-inspired event framing, including the cel-shaded playlists and Free Track rewards described above.
Activision’s dated Season 04 Reloaded debrief describes these additions as announced at the time. It does not establish whether the limited-time modes, playlists, or event rewards are available today.
