If Black Ops 6 won’t save on Game Pass, first identify what is disappearing: Campaign progress, settings, Multiplayer or Zombies profile data, or access to the game. Activision’s current support guidance covers a specific PC Game Pass access message and restoration of certain Multiplayer and Zombies data; it does not establish a general fix for Campaign saves or settings resetting.
Work out what “won’t save” means
Before changing files or account settings, note the platform and the exact symptom. Black Ops 6 launched on October 25, 2024, and Activision lists Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies among its modes. The mode and failure point matter: missing progress after relaunch is different from being told to purchase the game. Activision’s Black Ops 6 page
- Campaign progress: a checkpoint, mission, or campaign item is missing after you exit and return.
- Settings: options such as display or control settings revert after restarting.
- Multiplayer or Zombies profile data: profile-related progress or data appears reset.
- Zombies Solo save: a solo game save is missing.
- Access or entitlement: the game launches with a purchase message instead of letting you play.
Also record whether the issue followed a normal exit and relaunch or a switch to another device. Keep the exact wording of any error message; Activision tracks different known issues separately. Activision’s Black Ops 6 known-issues page
If PC Game Pass says to purchase Black Ops 6
If the message reads “NOT AVAILABLE. Purchase Black Ops 6 to have access to everything,” Activision advises checking Microsoft Store device management to see whether the device limit has been reached. This is an access check, not a repair for missing saves. If you are within the limit and the message remains, contact Activision Support.

If Multiplayer or Zombies data has reset
Activision’s known-issues page, updated July 10, 2026, says: “Restoration for players impacted by reset Multiplayer and Zombies profile data and Zombies Solo game saves is complete.” That notice is limited to the named profile data and Zombies Solo saves; it does not say that Campaign saves or settings have been fixed. If the named data is still missing, report the specific mode, data type, and platform through Activision’s support route. The notice does not provide a self-service recovery procedure.
If Campaign saves or settings keep resetting
The official support material reviewed does not establish a cause or a guaranteed fix for PC Game Pass Campaign saves or settings resetting. Activision’s Black Ops 6 support index links to PC troubleshooting and bug-report resources, but the available guidance does not give a Campaign-save-specific procedure.

Preserve existing local and cloud data while diagnosing the problem. Do not treat reinstalling, deleting local files, changing cloud-sync settings, or editing configuration files as an established fix: the cited official guidance does not recommend those steps for this symptom. When reporting it, include your platform and storefront, whether it is Campaign progress or settings, when the reset occurs, and any error message.
