The Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Open Beta ended by 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time on Thursday, October 9, 2025. Treyarch extended it beyond its original October 8 end time. The full game released on November 14, 2025 and is now live.
When did the Black Ops 7 Open Beta end?
Treyarch’s October 9, 2025 Black Ops 7 Beta Patch Notes said the extended Open Beta would end by 9:00 a.m. PT that day. This is the final announced end time.
The September 30 beta guide had originally scheduled the Open Beta to end at 10:00 a.m. PT on Wednesday, October 8. That schedule was superseded when Treyarch announced an extension on October 6. The guide had listed the beta’s start as Sunday, October 5, at 10:00 a.m. PT.
Who could play the beta?
The Open Beta was scheduled to be accessible to all players on all platforms. Early Access began October 2 and was for players who preordered the game or subscribed to select Xbox Game Pass plans, according to the official September beta guide.

What is the BO7 release date?
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 released worldwide on November 14, 2025. Call of Duty’s launch-day announcement confirmed the game was live. The beta patch notes also referred to the November 14 launch date.
What Treyarch reported about the beta
Treyarch’s October 9 beta patch notes reported that 97.5% of matches were completely clean of cheaters on Day 1, and 98.8% were cheater-free by Day 5. These are publisher-reported figures, not independent measurements. Treyarch described the beta’s purpose as testing, collecting player data, and gathering feedback in real time.
