What Guitarfoxx says makes the game difficult
Guitarfoxx says she was born with glaucoma and lost her right eye during TEKKEN 8’s launch. She describes having very limited, blurry tunnel vision in her left eye. In her Reddit account, she explains that the limitation affects her ability to distinguish strings and certain moves, judge her position relative to walls on some stages, and identify which hand an opponent uses for a throw. How she says she adapted her play
Guitarfoxx describes a deliberate approach focused on reducing reliance on split-second visual reactions and learning how opponents behave. Her reported practice included high-damage staple combos, wall carry, okizeme setups, frame traps, backdash movement, sidesteps to provoke whiffs, dash blocking, homing moves and lower-risk offense. She also says she worked on recognizing habits and adapting more quickly. These are her account of her own development, not independently tested coaching advice.

She characterizes her style as passive and says she still has a lot to learn. That self-assessment is a useful counterpoint to the rank: reaching Tekken God does not mean she considers her improvement finished.
What Tekken God means in TEKKEN 8
Tekken God is one of TEKKEN 8’s highest ranks, according to Dexerto’s report. That report places Tekken God Supreme and Tekken God of Destruction above it, so Tekken God should not be described as the game’s single highest rank. The rank ordering here reflects secondary reporting; the official online-mode page explains ranked progression but does not provide the rank hierarchy in the material reviewed. Bandai Namco says Ranked Match pairs players near their skill level. Victories and defeats change points; reaching a point threshold and then winning a promotion match advances a player’s rank. Its online-mode information also describes leaderboards for TEKKEN Power, Ranking Points and Ranked Match Wins, including character-specific and platform-specific rankings. Guitarfoxx says she appreciates that the game includes visual accessibility settings, but does not use the mode in competitive play. She considers its current implementation unfair to an opponent or impractical at in-person tournaments. Dexerto reports her concern that tournament competitors share a screen and console, and that unfamiliar settings could overwhelm an opponent. This is her view of the competitive context; it does not establish that tournaments generally prohibit accessibility features.
