Those BLOX.GREEN messages are not official Roblox notifications. They were part of an unsolicited spam campaign promoting an unofficial “free Robux” website. Roblox says that Robux generators do not exist and that offers of free Robux, subscriptions, or valuable items are scams.
Do not click the link, reply to the account, enter a password or personal information, download anything, or repost the complete address. If you already interacted with it, the right response depends on exactly what you did—and there are steps you can take to secure your account.
What the BLOX.GREEN Roblox messages are
Players reported seeing nearly identical messages in unrelated public Roblox experiences, including messages associated with BLOX.GREEN and related names such as BLOX.LAND, BLOX.PROMO, BLOX.BLUE, BLOX.PINK, and later BloxDrop variants.
The messages typically came from ordinary-looking, randomly named, or apparently new accounts. They often used fake testimonials or notifications suggesting that the sender—or one of the player’s friends—had received a large amount of Robux. Some were formatted to resemble Roblox system announcements or friend notifications.

- 【💙Durable Stitched Edges】 Delicate edges which can prevent wear. Ensure prolonged use without deformation and degumming.
- 【💙Extra Large Design】 Gives you more space to achieve different movement.
- 【💙Wide Applicability,ultra-smooth Surface】Soft surface is available for all types of mouse, LASER & OPTICAL
- 【💙Non-slip rubber base】Dense shading and anti-slip natural rubber base can firmly grip the desktop.
- 【💙】build your own little tiny world
Typical messages, paraphrased, included claims such as:
- “I just received lots of Robux from BLOX.GREEN.”
- “Your friend used BLOX.GREEN to claim a Robux reward.”
- “Open the site in your browser to get free Robux.”
Reports described the accounts joining a server, posting the promotion repeatedly, and leaving soon afterward. That can make the message disappear and leave players unable to report the account through the usual interface. A Roblox Developer Forum discussion also documented continued bot-like activity and spelling variations designed to evade chat filters.
This evidence supports the conclusion that players were seeing coordinated spam. It does not prove that every account posting the message was owned by the website operator. Some accounts may have been compromised, rented, botted, or otherwise abused.
Is BLOX.GREEN an official Roblox feature?
No. The message comes from a player account or in-experience chat, and it sends users to a third-party domain rather than a Roblox-controlled destination. Fake system-style formatting does not make it a Roblox announcement.

Roblox’s official guidance says that no Robux generator exists. Roblox also says that offers of free Robux or subscriptions are scams and should be reported. Legitimate Roblox promotions are announced through Roblox-controlled channels such as the official website, blog, Notifications area, or an official site banner—not through a random account advertising an external link.
Roblox’s advertising standards also prohibit deceptive free-Robux claims and attempts to imitate Roblox systems. A message that says “ROBLOX,” uses system-looking formatting, or mentions a friend is not automatically genuine.
Why the offer is unsafe even if it does not ask for a password immediately
A scam page does not have to request a Roblox login on its first screen to be dangerous. Historical descriptions of the BLOX.GREEN and related pages included combinations of:
- Free Robux or Roblox reward claims.
- Surveys, “verification” steps, or offer walls.
- Advertisements and referral or signup incentives.
- App, program, or browser-extension downloads.
- Personal-data collection.
- In related BloxDrop coverage, games, coins, mystery packs, and claimed Robux withdrawals.
These are historical descriptions from reports and archived observations. They should not be interpreted as proof that every version of every related domain showed the same content. The associated BloxDrop site now displays a shutdown notice rather than operating as a current rewards service.

Current-status warning: The exact live behavior of blox.green should not be assumed from older articles or lookup pages. A direct request timed out during the research check on August 10, 2026.
| Date | What was reported |
|---|---|
| November 24–28, 2025 | Players and gaming sites reported repeated BLOX.GREEN promotions appearing in unrelated Roblox servers. |
| December 2025–January 2026 | Players and developers continued reporting bot waves, repeated messages, and spelling changes intended to bypass filters. |
| February 2026 | A public lookup recorded blox.green redirecting to bloxdrop.com. This was a historical observation, not a permanent guarantee about the domain. |
| May 6, 2026 | The BloxDrop site said that operations had ceased. |
| May 22, 2026 | The site said that BloxDrop had fully shut down. |
| May 23, 2026 | The site said that withdrawals were no longer accepted. |
| August 10, 2026 | The current destination of blox.green could not be independently confirmed because a direct request timed out. |
Older coverage associated BLOX.GREEN with BLOX.LAND, while later lookup data recorded a redirect to BloxDrop. The domains may represent a connected scam ecosystem or changing campaign branding, but the available public evidence does not verify one common operator for every domain. Do not treat domain relationships as proof of ownership.
The practical conclusion has not changed: an unsolicited Roblox message promising free Robux is unsafe whether the link leads to an old page, a redirect, a shutdown notice, an advertising page, or a new lookalike domain.
What can happen if you click?
Opening a page does not automatically prove that your device or Roblox account was hacked. There is also no verified public malware sample in the reviewed sources proving that blox.green automatically installs malware merely because it is opened.

However, suspicious reward pages and redirects can expose users to several risks. Roblox warns about fake forms, suspicious links, stolen passwords, and stolen items, while the Federal Trade Commission warns about fake reward and survey links that may collect personal information, trigger unauthorized charges, or deliver malware.

What to do when the spam appears
- Do not click the domain.
- Do not reply. Replying confirms that a real person is reading the chat and may invite more targeting.
- Do not copy and repost the full link. Reposting it—even as a warning—can create additional clicks and increase its visibility. Refer to the domain in plain text or redact it in screenshots.
- Report the specific message, chat, or player while the account and content are still visible.
- Block or mute the account for immediate relief.
- Leave the server or use a private server if the spam continues.
- Tell younger players what the message is. The simplest explanation is: “Roblox says free-Robux generators are scams. Don’t open the link.”
A private server may reduce exposure, but it is not proof that a domain or account is legitimate and is not a complete security solution.
How to report the BLOX.GREEN spam in Roblox
Roblox’s reporting guidance emphasizes reporting the specific violating content, not just making a vague profile report. The exact labels can differ by device and account because Roblox announced a redesigned, adaptive in-game reporting flow on July 1, 2026.
- Open the in-experience menu.
- Choose the flag or report option, or open the report tab.
- Choose Person rather than Experience when reporting the spammer.
- Select the username responsible for the message.
- Choose the closest abuse category.
- Add a concise explanation, such as:
Repeated unsolicited external link advertising a free-Robux scam in chat. - Submit the report.
For the latest platform-specific instructions, use Roblox’s official reporting guide.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteIf the account already left
Report the message while it is visible whenever possible. If it disappeared first, record the username, experience name, approximate time, and a screenshot if you already have one. Do not chase the account or try to contact it on another platform. Report the experience separately only if the experience itself appears to be participating in or promoting the scam.
Blocking and leaving the server protect your immediate experience, but they do not necessarily provide Roblox with enough evidence to investigate. Reporting and blocking serve different purposes.
If you already clicked: follow the branch that fits
Only opened the page
- Close the browser tab or app.
- Do not allow notifications, pop-ups, or other permissions.
- Do not type anything into a form.
- Check the browser’s downloads list and delete anything suspicious.
- Check browser notification and extension settings for anything the page added.
A click alone does not establish that your Roblox account has been compromised, but treat any later password-reset message, login alert, or “support” contact with suspicion.
Entered a Roblox password
- Go directly to the official Roblox website or open the official Roblox app; do not use a link from the message.
- Change the Roblox password immediately.
- Change it anywhere else it was reused. Password reuse can allow a stolen Roblox password to unlock an email or another gaming account.
- Enable 2-Step Verification.
- Review account security and active sessions where available.
- Contact Roblox Support if you notice lost access, changed account details, missing items, or missing Robux.
Roblox says passwords should only be entered on the official Roblox login page or in official apps. Its account-safety guidance also warns against suspicious links and fake login forms.

Entered personal information
If you submitted an email address, phone number, or other personal details, expect targeted follow-up messages. Do not respond to later messages claiming to be Roblox Support, offering a reward, or asking you to “verify” the account again. Watch the email account connected to Roblox for unexpected password resets and login alerts. If the email password was also exposed or reused, change it immediately and enable protection on that email account.
For fake prize or reward requests involving personal or financial details, the FTC’s guidance on fake prize, sweepstakes, and lottery scams is also relevant.
Downloaded a file or extension
Do not open an unknown download. Remove the file or extension, update the operating system and browser, and run a full malware scan. If you installed an app, uninstall it and check whether it added permissions or started with the device. Change passwords from a clean device if possible, especially if the downloaded item was opened.

Roblox’s compromised-account recovery guidance specifically recommends removing suspicious downloads and browser extensions and running a full virus scan.
Lost access to the account
Start with these steps:
- Remove suspicious downloads and extensions.
- Run a full malware scan.
- Reset the Roblox password.
- Enable 2-Step Verification.
- Contact Roblox Support if the password reset does not restore access.
For ownership verification, Roblox says the first email address added to the account or the billing email used for the first payment may help. Roblox does not guarantee that lost items or currency can be restored, and its guidance says users seeking limited recovery assistance for lost inventory or currency should contact Support within 30 days of the compromise.
How to turn on Roblox 2-Step Verification
- Log in to Roblox through the official website or app.
- Open Account Settings. In a browser, select the gear icon in the upper-right. On mobile, open the three-dot menu and then the gear.
- Open Security.
- Turn on the preferred 2-Step Verification method.
- Follow the on-screen setup instructions and save backup codes in a safe place.
Roblox currently supports methods including email, an authenticator app, security keys, and second-device verification. Availability and recovery requirements vary by account. Some setups require a verified email address. See Roblox’s 2-Step Verification guide for the options available to your account.
Legitimate ways to get Robux
There is no generator, code, survey, or third-party website that can create free Robux for a player. Legitimate options described by Roblox include:
- Buying Robux through official Roblox apps or the official Roblox website.
- Using authorized Roblox gift cards.
- Building experiences and earning through supported creator monetization.
- Selling eligible avatar items through Roblox’s supported Marketplace systems.
- Converting eligible earned Robux through the Developer Exchange program, subject to Roblox’s requirements.
Be careful with older guides that list Roblox Premium as a generally available new purchase option. Roblox announced that Premium would no longer be available for new purchase after April 30, 2026, although existing subscribers may retain certain benefits. Check Roblox’s current official membership information rather than relying on an old “how to get Robux” article.

Children may believe a fake system-style message because it appears inside a Roblox experience. Explain that text appearing in the game can still be written by another player and that visual formatting is not proof that Roblox sent it.
A useful script is:
“Roblox says free-Robux generators are scams. Don’t click the link or enter your password. Show me the message, and we’ll report it together. If you already entered anything, tell me so we can secure the account.”
Parents can review chat controls from the relevant Roblox settings:
- For the user account: Settings → Privacy & content restrictions → Communication → Experience chat.
- For linked parental controls: Settings → Parental Controls → Settings You Manage → Communication → Experience chat.
Availability and restrictions can vary by age, region, and account configuration. These controls can reduce unwanted communication, but teaching children not to follow free-Robux offers remains important.
Advice for Roblox developers
Developers dealing with these bots should use Roblox’s current chat system and moderation controls rather than relying on a client-only visual workaround. Roblox’s creator documentation says experiences offering in-game text chat must use TextChatService and filter incoming user text before it is displayed.
Useful tools include:
TextChatService.OnIncomingMessagefor customizing how messages are displayed.TextChannel.ShouldDeliverCallbackfor server-side decisions about whether a message reaches players.- Text filtering, text-channel permissions, and chat commands documented by Roblox.
A server-side filter can reduce delivery of known phrases and domains to other players. It is generally more effective than merely replacing text on one client. However, it is not a complete anti-bot system. Campaigns can rotate domains, insert punctuation, alter spelling, use Unicode confusables, or spread messages through new accounts.

Maintain a list of suspicious phrases and domain patterns, but avoid automatic bans based only on a random username, one word containing “blox,” or a single mention of Robux. Legitimate gameplay discussions can contain those terms. The strongest signal is the combination of an unsolicited external link, a free-Robux promise, repeated identical messages, and bot-like joining or leaving behavior.
Roblox Developer Forum scripts and observations can be useful starting points, but community code is not a Roblox-endorsed security product. Test any moderation logic, make it maintainable, and keep Roblox’s official chat and filtering requirements in place.

How to recognize the next version of the scam
Do not rely on the exact spelling BLOX.GREEN. Treat a message as unsafe when several of these signs appear together:
- An unsolicited promise of free Robux, items, subscriptions, or a reward.
- An external domain instead of a Roblox-controlled destination.
- Fake testimonial language such as “I got tons of Robux.”
- Urgency, limited-time claims, or a requirement to act immediately.
- A random-looking or newly created account.
- The same message appearing across unrelated games.
- The account leaving soon after posting.
- A request for surveys, downloads, referrals, login details, cookies, or “verification.”
- System-like formatting or use of “ROBLOX” to create false authority.
No single clue identifies who operates a domain. The reliable safety decision comes from the combination of Roblox’s no-generator rule and the observed behavior: unsolicited external advertising delivered through player chat.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is BLOX.GREEN a real Roblox feature?
No. BLOX.GREEN was promoted through unsolicited player-chat spam and is not an official Roblox feature or notification channel. Roblox says that free-Robux generators do not exist.
Can BLOX.GREEN give me free Robux?
There is no legitimate Robux generator. Any page promising free Robux in exchange for a login, survey, download, referral, or verification should be treated as a scam.

A click alone does not prove that your account or device was compromised, and the reviewed sources do not establish that every visit automatically installs malware. Still, suspicious redirects, forms, downloads, and fake login pages can create real risks. Close the page, avoid permissions and downloads, and secure your account if you entered information.
Are BLOX.LAND, BLOX.BLUE, BLOX.PINK, and BloxDrop operated by the same people?
Public reports and domain data associate these names with the same broader scam pattern or changing campaign branding. They do not verify one common operator for every domain, so that claim should not be presented as established fact.
What if I only entered my Roblox username?
Do not panic, but expect possible follow-up phishing. Do not answer messages claiming to be Roblox Support, and watch for suspicious login or password-reset alerts. If you entered an email, phone number, password, or payment information, take the corresponding security steps immediately.
How do I report a bot that already left the server?
Report the specific message or player while visible whenever possible. If the account disappeared, save the username, experience, approximate time, and any screenshot you already have. Do not follow or contact the account elsewhere. Report the experience separately only if it appears to be participating.

Is BloxDrop still operating?
The BloxDrop site said operations ended on May 6, 2026, the full shutdown occurred on May 22, and withdrawals closed on May 23. The exact current behavior of blox.green was not independently confirmed in the August 10, 2026 check because a direct request timed out.
Can Roblox recover stolen Robux or items?
Roblox does not guarantee restoration. If the account was compromised, remove suspicious downloads and extensions, scan the device, reset the password, enable 2-Step Verification, and contact Roblox Support promptly. Roblox says users seeking limited recovery assistance for lost inventory or currency should contact Support within 30 days of the compromise.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: Treat BLOX.GREEN and every similar free-Robux chat message as an untrusted scam link. Ignore, report, and block the sender. Never enter a Roblox password on a third-party page, and if you clicked, downloaded something, or submitted information, secure the account and device immediately through official Roblox and payment-provider channels.
