1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesA March 21, 2025 recap of the Blue Lock: Rivals Lunar New Year update reports seasonal rewards alongside gameplay and control changes, including optimized maps, new teams, a volley system and keybinds. The recap is not a developer patch announcement, and it does not name the maps or teams. Its event end-date is also unclear, so it cannot establish whether the rewards are still available.
What the Lunar New Year update reportedly added
The third-party recap groups the update into seasonal event content and gameplay or quality-of-life changes. Its short update log lists a Lunar New Year event, “New Maps (Way more optimized),” new teams, a volley system, limited items, keybinds and bug fixes. It does not provide a full official patch record.
| Category | What the recap reports | What it leaves unspecified |
|---|---|---|
| Maps | New maps described as “way more optimized” | Map names and optimization details |
| Teams | New teams | Team names or abilities |
| Gameplay | A volley system | How the system works or its exact changes |
| Controls | Keybinds | Which controls can be changed or how to configure them |
| Maintenance | Bug fixes | A detailed list of fixes |
Because the recap gives no map, team, or technical specifics, it is not possible to identify the additions more precisely from this account.
Reported event-pass rewards and progression
The recap says players earned event-pass XP through tasks such as playing matches and getting assists. It names these rewards:

The task examples are not a complete quest list, and the recap does not state the XP requirements or the order in which rewards unlocked. These are reported digital game rewards; the source does not establish whether they can still be obtained.
What is known about the event dates
The recap is labeled March 21, 2025, yet says the event ran “until January 31st” without specifying a year. That wording does not establish a reliable start or end date, and the available account is not a primary developer schedule. A January 25, 2025 video result titled around the Lunar New Year update, Dragon Cape and event provides limited evidence that the update was being discussed then, but it does not confirm the complete feature or reward list.

A separate fan-maintained update page mentions the Lunar New Year patch and Dragon Cape and Lantern Goal Effect in historical context. It identifies itself as an independent fan guide, not a developer or official Blue Lock source, so it is secondary context rather than confirmation.

The available account supports a broad picture of the update, not a definitive inventory of everything it changed. Treat the cosmetics and feature list as claims reported by a third-party recap, rather than officially confirmed patch notes. In particular, it does not establish reward availability today, provide instructions for claiming rewards, name the maps or teams, or detail the bug fixes.
