This guide lists the five room safes in Blue Prince, their codes, and how to find or reveal them. It also covers three related locks sometimes included in safe-code guides: the Apple Orchard gate, the Underground Red Door lock, and the Shelter time-lock.

Related locks and gates
These are sometimes counted alongside the room safes, but they are not conventional room safes. Some guides therefore describe the set as five room safes plus three related locks or gates.

How to open each room safe
Boudoir safe
- Find the safe behind the room divider or dressing screen.
- Enter 1225 for month/day format or 2512 for day/month format. The Christmas image is the date clue.
Office safe
- Open the desk drawer.
- Turn the switch or dial in the drawer to reveal the safe.
- Enter 0303. The clue combines March and the three relevant Count Isaac Gates busts.
Study safe
- Locate the visible safe in the Study.
- Use the king on D8 as the clue for December 8.
- Enter 1208 or 0812.
Drafting Studio miniature safe
- Use a Magnifying Glass to inspect and interact with the safe in the miniature room model.
- Follow the calendar clue to November 8.
- Enter 1108 or 0811.
Drawing Room safe
- Pull the left candlestick by the fireplace to reveal the safe.
- Read “small gates” as “small gaits”: the clue counts four women and fifteen men.
- Enter 0415 or 1504.

Underground / Underpass Red Door gate
After accessing the area through the Boiler Room control setup, use the alphanumeric code MAY8 on the lock beyond the Red Door. This is not a numeric safe code.
Shelter time-lock
Use the terminal to set an in-game date and time at least an hour ahead, then return after the selected time. The lock is dynamic rather than a universal numeric combination; Day 1 is November 7.

How many room safes are there in Blue Prince?
The sources reviewed identify five conventional room safes: the Boudoir, Office, Study, Drafting Studio miniature safe, and Drawing Room. Some guides count eight by adding the Orchard gate, Underground gate, and Shelter time-lock.
What is the Office safe code?
The Office safe code is 0303. Reveal the safe by opening the desk drawer and turning its switch or dial.

Can Blue Prince date codes be entered in either order?
The listed date codes have month/day and day/month forms. For example, the Boudoir accepts 1225 or 2512, while the Study accepts 1208 or 0812. Preserve leading zeroes, including the Office code 0303.
Is MAY8 a safe code?
MAY8 is the alphanumeric code for the Underground or Underpass Red Door gate, not a numeric room-safe code.

Does the Shelter have a fixed code?
No. Set a future in-game date and time at the terminal, then return after the selected time; the lock is time-dependent.
