BOMBANANA! is a cooperative bomb-defusal party game by Lefto Studio, published by TARK. It launched on Steam on September 2, 2026, and now has an official Roblox adaptation credited to FXFX Studio in partnership with the original team. TARK calls it the first Steam-native party game to receive a purpose-built Roblox adaptation; that is the publisher’s characterization, not an independently verified industry-wide first.
How BOMBANANA! plays
On Steam, the game is pitched as a three-player co-op challenge: a team of monkeys must defuse a bomb, but each player has only part of the information. The group has to communicate, solve puzzles and beat the clock. The Roblox listing describes the roles as blind, mute and deaf monkeys, framing the information gap as the central teamwork challenge.
That split-information design makes communication the main skill. Players need to explain what they can see or understand clearly enough for teammates to act, while working under a timer.

What the Steam game included at launch
In its September 1, 2026 launch announcement, Lefto Studio said the Steam release would include Campaign, Endless and Custom modes, along with new environments, puzzles and modifiers. The announcement also listed controller support, Steam Deck support, achievements, colorblind mode, server browsing and room codes. What the success figures mean
TARK Games reported that BOMBANANA! sold more than one million copies during its first ten days on Steam. In a press release dated October 5, 2026, the publisher also reported more than 16 million Roblox visits and 80,000 favorites. These are publisher-reported milestones, not independently audited totals, and the Roblox figures are a dated snapshot rather than current live counts. TARK Games press release

Before launch, Lefto Studio’s September 1, 2026 announcement said the game had reached one million wishlists, its demo had been played by six million people, and its Discord had 50,000 members. The developer also described the demo as Steam Next Fest 2026’s number-one demo and the second most-played Steam demo from June through August. Why the “first” claim needs attribution
TARK describes the Roblox release as the first purpose-built Roblox adaptation of a Steam-native party game. That makes the “first” a meaningful part of the publisher’s announcement, but the sources available do not establish an exhaustive industry comparison. Is there BOMBANANA! merchandise?

Choose based on where your group plays and how many people are available; do not assume the two versions have identical features.
