Bone Bottom is a town in Hollow Knight: Silksong, Team Cherry’s action-adventure sequel. The community-maintained Hollow Knight Wiki identifies it as the first town encountered and places it in the Mosslands. It describes the residents as pilgrims whose goal is to reach the Citadel, with the settlement leading toward the Marrow.
The wiki says the town is made up of tents and bone pieces. Its named features include a small shop, a bench, a Wishwall, and a Bellway Station. It also says Flick the Fixer maintains the Wishwall and that it is reconstructed after the Bell Beast is defeated. These descriptions can help orient players, but the cited location account is community-maintained rather than an official developer reference.
Why is Bone Bottom notable?
Bone Bottom serves as an early settlement and a recognizable point of orientation in the game’s Mosslands setting. Its name also appears in the game’s musical material: in a Dec. 13, 2019 update, Team Cherry described “Bonebottom” as the sombre score for Silksong’s starting town. Team Cherry’s Dec. 15, 2025 update named Fangamer as having prepared Silksong character mini-figures and linked to a broader merchandise collection.
