Yes—within the scope of the official product listings, Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition includes the base game, all six add-ons from Season Passes 1 and 2, and the bonus cosmetic and equipment packs named by the store. That means the four Season Pass 1 campaign expansions, Season Pass 2’s Designer’s Cut and Director’s Cut, and a collection of additional skins, weapon items, a grenade mod, a trinket, and boost mods.
“Everything” does not mean every cosmetic ever offered, every platform promotion, or any future release. The exact package can vary by platform, region, edition format, and upgrade path, so check the listing for the storefront where you will buy it.

What Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition includes
The official Xbox listing describes Ultimate Edition as the base game plus all six content add-ons and the full collection of bonus cosmetic packs listed on that page. PlayStation and Epic storefront descriptions present the same broad package: the game, six add-ons, and bonus cosmetics.

Season Pass 1 contributes four full campaign expansions. Season Pass 2 contributes two larger add-ons, Designer’s Cut and Director’s Cut. The edition also lists several cosmetic and equipment bundles that are separate from those six add-ons.

| Content group | Included items | What that means |
|---|---|---|
| Base game | Borderlands 3 | The core game is included; you do not need to own a separate standard edition. |
| Season Pass 1 | Four campaign add-ons | These are full story-focused expansions with new areas, missions, characters, enemies and loot. |
| Season Pass 2 | Designer’s Cut and Director’s Cut | These add new gameplay systems, missions, endgame content and other features. |
| Bonus packs | Cosmetic packs, Toy Box Weapon Pack, and boost mods | Extra customization and equipment listed separately from the six add-ons. |
In other words, if your definition of “all the DLC” is the six add-ons sold through the two season passes, Ultimate Edition is the complete bundle described by the official store pages. If you mean every item ever distributed through a promotion or every platform-specific bonus, the listings do not support that broader claim.
Season Pass 1: the four campaign expansions
Season Pass 1 is represented by four named story add-ons. They are included individually in Ultimate Edition rather than being an implied entitlement that you must purchase separately.
Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot
This is the first Season Pass 1 campaign add-on listed for the edition. Its name identifies the Handsome Jackpot setting and Moxxi-led heist premise. Because it is one of the four named campaign add-ons, it is part of the Ultimate Edition content package.
Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock
This campaign expansion is the second Season Pass 1 item. The title centers on Wainwright and Hammerlock and is listed as a separate add-on, not merely a cosmetic or character pack.

Bounty of Blood
Bounty of Blood is the third campaign add-on in Season Pass 1. It is included alongside the other story expansions in the Ultimate bundle.
Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck
This is the fourth and final Season Pass 1 campaign add-on named by the store listing. Owning Ultimate Edition supplies it as part of the same package as the other three Season Pass 1 stories.
Season Pass 2: Designer’s Cut and Director’s Cut
Season Pass 2 is not four more campaign stories. The official descriptions identify two add-ons with different purposes and feature sets.
Designer’s Cut
Designer’s Cut includes Arms Race and an additional skill tree for each Vault Hunter. Arms Race is a distinct gameplay mode, while the extra skill trees expand character-build options. Both parts are included under the Designer’s Cut entitlement.

Director’s Cut
Director’s Cut includes a raid boss, new story missions, behind-the-scenes extras, and three Vault Cards. Those features make it broader than a cosmetic bundle: it adds playable content, progression options and development material.
Multiverse cosmetic packs in Season Pass 2
The Xbox listing also names four Multiverse Final Form Cosmetic Packs and four Multiverse Disciples of the Vault Cosmetic Packs. These are part of the bonus content associated with the Ultimate package. They should not be counted as additional campaign add-ons; the store still describes the complete add-on total as six.
Other bonus content named on the store listing
Beyond the six season-pass add-ons, Ultimate Edition includes the following packs and items according to the official Xbox product page:
The Tool Desk
Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →- Butt Stallion Pack: a weapon skin, a trinket and a Butt Stallion grenade mod.
- Retro Cosmetic Pack: a Vault Hunter skin, an ECHO Device skin and a weapon skin.
- Neon Cosmetic Pack: a Vault Hunter skin, an ECHO Device skin and a trinket.
- Gearbox Cosmetic Pack: a weapon skin and a trinket.
- Toy Box Weapon Pack: two toy guns, a Toy grenade mod and a trinket.
- Equippable XP and Loot Drop Boost Mods: optional equipment that modifies experience and loot-drop behavior.
The cosmetic packs change appearance rather than adding another campaign. The Toy Box pack does add usable guns and a grenade mod, while the boost mods affect progression and drops. The listing does not establish that these items include every other promotional skin or timed reward ever associated with Borderlands 3.

How Ultimate Edition differs from Super Deluxe Edition
Community questions often mix up Super Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition, Season Pass 1 and Season Pass 2. The names are not interchangeable.
| Question to check | Ultimate Edition listing | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Is the base game included? | Yes | You receive the core Borderlands 3 game with the bundle. |
| Are the four Season Pass 1 campaigns included? | Yes, they are individually named | This covers Moxxi’s Heist, Guns, Love, and Tentacles, Bounty of Blood, and Psycho Krieg. |
| Are Designer’s Cut and Director’s Cut included? | Yes, both are listed as Season Pass 2 add-ons | You receive Arms Race, extra skill trees, Director’s Cut missions, the raid boss, Vault Cards and related features. |
| Are bonus cosmetics included? | Yes, the listed Multiverse, Butt Stallion, Retro, Neon and Gearbox packs are included | These are separate from the six add-ons and should be checked on the exact product page. |
| Does the edition name alone prove every platform has identical contents? | No | Storefront, region, format and upgrade language can affect what is delivered. |
For a purchase decision, read the itemized contents instead of assuming that “Super Deluxe” and “Ultimate” mean the same thing. The official listings specifically identify Ultimate Edition as containing both season passes; a differently named edition may not contain the same set.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Platform and region caveats
Xbox, PlayStation and Epic listings all describe the same broad six-add-on package, but that does not prove that every platform, country or store format distributes every bonus identically. Product pages can differ in wording, included entitlements, upgrade rights and account requirements.
PlayStation PS4 and PS5
The United States PlayStation listing specifies PS4 and PS5. It says PS4 copies include a digital upgrade to the optimized PS5 version. That is a platform-specific upgrade statement; it should not be generalized to other regions, physical editions or other consoles without checking their own product pages.

- 5-in-1 Connectivity: Equipped with a 4K HDMI port, a 5 Gbps USB-C data port, two 5 Gbps USB-A ports, and a USB C 100W PD-IN port. Note: The USB C 100W PD-IN port supports only charging and does not support data transfer devices such as headphones or speakers.
- Powerful Pass-Through Charging: Supports up to 85W pass-through charging so you can power up your laptop while you use the hub. Note: Pass-through charging requires a charger (not included). Note: To achieve full power for iPad, we recommend using a 45W wall charger.
- Transfer Files in Seconds: Move files to and from your laptop at speeds of up to 5 Gbps via the USB-C and USB-A data ports. Note: The USB C 5Gbps Data port does not support video output.
- HD Display: Connect to the HDMI port to stream or mirror content to an external monitor in resolutions of up to 4K@30Hz. Note: The USB-C ports do not support video output.
- What You Get: Anker 332 USB-C Hub (5-in-1), welcome guide, our worry-free 18-month warranty, and friendly customer service.
Xbox
The Xbox listing is the source that itemizes the complete bonus inventory quoted above. Its promotional wording calls Ultimate Edition the “quintessential Borderlands 3 experience” with the base game, six add-ons and the full collection of bonus cosmetic packs. That is storefront marketing copy, so use the detailed item list to determine what you are actually receiving.
Epic Games Store
The Epic listing also describes Ultimate Edition as containing the base game, six add-ons and bonus cosmetics. Confirm the account, operating-system and launcher requirements shown on the live Epic product page before checkout.
Digital versus physical copies
The available listings establish the digital contents but do not prove that every physical SKU uses the same discs, download codes or redemption windows. If you are buying a used copy, inspect whether any included code has already been redeemed and compare the exact edition name with the current store description.

What “all the DLC” means in practical terms
When players ask on Reddit whether Ultimate Edition has all the DLC, they usually mean whether they will miss a playable expansion after buying the bundle. The official listings indicate the answer is no for the six named add-ons:
- Start with the base game included in Ultimate Edition.
- Confirm that the product page names all four Season Pass 1 campaigns.
- Confirm that it names both Season Pass 2 add-ons, Designer’s Cut and Director’s Cut.
- Check the bonus section for the cosmetic packs and equipment listed for your platform.
- Verify the platform and region before paying, especially if you are relying on a PS4-to-PS5 upgrade or a physical code.
The answer becomes “not established” only when “everything” is expanded to include unspecified promotions, platform-exclusive offers, future content or items not named on the listing. The official listings do not claim universal inclusion of those categories.
Pre-purchase checklist
- Make sure the title says Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition, not merely Borderlands 3, Super Deluxe Edition or a season pass.
- Look for the base game in the contents description.
- Look for all four Season Pass 1 names: Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot; Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock; Bounty of Blood; and Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck.
- Look for Designer’s Cut and Director’s Cut under Season Pass 2.
- Read the bonus list for the Multiverse packs, Butt Stallion Pack, Retro Cosmetic Pack, Neon Cosmetic Pack, Gearbox Cosmetic Pack, Toy Box Weapon Pack and boost mods.
- Check the store region, supported console or PC platform, and any PS4/PS5 upgrade language.
- If buying second-hand, verify that download codes are unused and that the seller is offering the Ultimate edition rather than a lower tier.
Bottom line for Reddit’s question
Yes: Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition includes the base game, the four Season Pass 1 campaign expansions, Season Pass 2’s Designer’s Cut and Director’s Cut, and the bonus packs itemized by the official Xbox, PlayStation and Epic listings. Treat that as “all listed Borderlands 3 add-ons and bonuses,” not a promise covering every promotion or every region. Check the exact storefront page for your platform before purchase.
