Directive-0 is the boss at the end of Ironwall Resolve, an Order Bunker in the Terminus District of Dominion. To reach it, complete the side mission One Gassy Issue, open the bunker door with a Locust canister, destroy the bunker’s power cores, then defeat the boss. After a kill, the guide’s repeat method is to use Moxxi’s Big Encore machine beside the arena entrance.
Where to find Directive-0
Travel to Ironwall Resolve in the Terminus District of Dominion. The entrance is sealed until you complete the side mission One Gassy Issue, which enables nearby Locust canisters, according to the AllThings.How guide updated October 1, 2025.

Open the bunker entrance
- Look for the Locust-canister dispenser on a trash pile near the entrance landing.
- Pick up a canister or use your grapple to pull it toward you.
- Carry it to the sealed plating and throw it at the door before its short fuse runs out.
The guide says the entrance remains accessible on that character once opened.
Clear the power cores inside Ironwall Resolve
Destroy the bunker’s three cores to clear the barriers and reach the central route. The path described in the guide is:

- Shoot the visible power core on the left wall inside the entrance.
- Enter the left chamber. Use the grapple node on a pillar to reach the high catwalk, cross to the small room, and destroy its core.
- Go into the right wing and follow the corridor to the ladder at the back. Climb up and shoot the right-wing core.
Return to the central route after the cores are destroyed. Vending machines are positioned before the boss arena, giving you a chance to refill before the fight.
How to beat Directive-0
The October 2025 guide describes Directive-0 as having a shield followed by armor. It recommends matching damage types to those defenses, then focusing on the boss’s head once they are down. These are the guide’s tactics, not independently tested performance claims.
- Use Shock against the shield and Corrosive against armor, following the guide’s recommendations.
- Target the floating orbs. The guide says they deploy Rail Liner turrets, so destroying them can reduce incoming pressure.
- Flank or break the frontal barrier. Avoid staying in front of the barrier; move around it or try to destroy it.
- Use cover against projectiles. The guide also suggests leaving a couple of lesser enemies alive as possible Second Wind targets if you are downed.
- Aim for the head after the defenses fall.
Directive-0’s reported legendary drops
The guide names three legendary assault rifles associated with the boss. It does not provide drop rates, sample sizes, or evidence that any item is guaranteed, so treat these as reported loot rather than assured drops.

How to farm Directive-0
After defeating the boss, return to the arena entrance and use the Moxxi’s Big Encore machine. The guide says the machine charges cash to start another run. Repeat the bunker route, refill at the vending machines before the arena, defeat Directive-0, and activate the Encore machine again.
Borderlands Support’s update notes for March 19, 2026 listed Directive-0 as that update’s Weekly Big Encore Boss. That confirms the boss was featured in that dated weekly selection; it does not establish which boss is selected on October 8, 2026. Weekly selections can change. No drop percentages or measured farming times are established by these sources. Use the Encore loop to repeat the encounter, but don’t plan around a particular number of runs for a specific weapon.
