Driller Hole is the boss arena at the bottom of Queen’s Cradle, in Tonnage Peel, Carcadia Burn. You first reach it at the end of the Unpaid Tab main mission. Guides list three dedicated Legendary drops—Katagawa’s Revenge, Fuse, and G.M.R.—but none is guaranteed on a kill.
Where to find Driller Hole and how to unlock it
Follow Unpaid Tab through the facility in Queen’s Cradle. At the mission’s end, descend to the arena and clear the Ripper wave to reach the boss. Queen’s Cradle is in Tonnage Peel, within Carcadia Burn; PC Gamer places it near the Lowrise safehouse, a useful guide-reported landmark for returning later.

The fight has an armor phase followed by a flesh-health phase. Guides recommend changing damage types as the bar changes:

- Against armor: use corrosive damage.
- Against flesh: switch to incendiary damage.
- If corrosion is resisted: one guide suggests trying Cryo instead; resistance can vary between runs.
Driller Hole uses direct or homing rockets, aerial rocket attacks that leave elemental hazards, and projectiles that travel through the ground. Keep moving rather than trading shots in one spot. Use the central machine or other terrain to break line of sight from direct volleys, and watch the floor for traveling drill shots and lingering hazards. These are guide-reported tactics, not independently verified encounter testing.
Repeatable Driller Hole farm route
- Complete Unpaid Tab and defeat Driller Hole once to unlock return access.
- Go to the nearby Moxxi’s Big Encore terminal by the arena entrance.
- Pay the displayed fee to reset the boss. The reviewed guides do not establish a current fee amount.
- Re-enter the arena, defeat Driller Hole, and check the loot for the three reported dedicated Legendaries.
- Use the terminal again if you want another attempt.
Co-op may make the fight easier by splitting the boss’s attention, according to a guide. No verified drop rates or measured clear times are available, so there is no supported basis for promising a particular number of kills or time per item.

First-clear story spoiler: optional Quent sequence
Spoiler: After the first story kill, All Things How reports a one-minute sequence involving the central apparatus. Grapple the glowing green handles and shoot the glowing orange pipes. The guide says your result determines Quent’s mission outcome. If you want to complete this story interaction, do it before settling into repeated loot runs.

Borderlands Support’s March 11, 2026 update included Driller Hole among that week’s Weekly Big Encore Boss options. That confirms a historical weekly rotation only; it does not show that Driller Hole is in the current rotation or that the permanent dedicated drop table changed. The detailed loot guides cited here were updated in October 2025, and no official current permanent drop table is established by those sources.
