The list is time-sensitive, not a guarantee that every code still works: check each one through Gearbox SHiFT before relying on it. These are specific code batches, not every Golden Key available in the game.
Borderlands 4 Golden Key codes reported active on October 7, 2026
GamesRadar+ reported these codes and rewards in its October 7 update. Its list is a secondary tracker, not a live redemption test; Gearbox’s Check/redeem response is the final confirmation for an individual code.

How to redeem Borderlands 4 SHiFT codes
Link the account for the platform where you play before redeeming. You can enter a code on the SHiFT website or in Borderlands 4.

- Sign in to your Gearbox SHiFT account, or create one, and link your Borderlands 4 platform account.
- Choose a redemption route: on the SHiFT website, open Rewards and enter the code in Code Redemption; in the game, open the SHiFT menu and select Rewards.
- Check or redeem the code, then select a game and platform supported by that code if prompted. Read the result shown by SHiFT; a code may not be available for every game or platform.
- After a successful redemption, collect the reward in game and use a Golden Key at a Golden Chest.
The website is convenient for copying and pasting codes; in-game redemption avoids switching devices. Gearbox’s current response is more useful than an old list if a code has expired or its eligibility is unclear.
What Golden Keys give you—and what they do not
A Golden Key opens a Borderlands 4 Golden Chest and grants a randomized gear reward. It does not promise a particular gun or item. The codes above provide the stated number of keys when accepted; the chest’s gear is a separate reward roll.

Why code dates matter
Golden Key code lists can change quickly. A September 30, 2026 tracker reported no active code, while GamesRadar’s October 7 update listed the codes above. That change is why an older “active codes” page should not be treated as current.
One code appearing in an earlier October list should not be added to the active set: Beebom reported that 39FJ3-CTJTK-CXTBC-JTJ3T-W95RK rewarded three keys but expired October 6, 2026. It was already expired by October 8. See Beebom’s October code list and the GamesRadar+ October 7 tracker.
