Where to find a Breathtaking Snowglobe
Loot guides describe the Snowglobe as appearing in Residential, Commercial, or Old World buildings across maps, rather than at one fixed location. These are reported search patterns, not official spawn guarantees. See Nerd’s Chalk’s location guide.
Start with Buried City
Buried City is a useful first stop because it has a concentration of buildings and interiors to search. Nerd’s Chalk names Grandioso Apartments, Santa Maria Houses, Piazza Rosa, Town Hall, Library, Galleria, Red Tower, Space Travel, and Piazza Arbusto as areas to check. The same guide also recommends searching residential or commercial buildings on Dam Battlegrounds, The Blue Gate, Spaceport, and Stella Montis.
Search Bird City nests and sealed rooms
PC Gamer recommends searching during the Bird City map condition, including chimney nests, and checking sealed loot rooms for drawers and filing cabinets. Its writer reports finding a Snowglobe in a chimney nest during a Bird City run; that is an anecdote, not proof of a guaranteed spawn or higher drop rate. Check lockers if you can open them
Nerd’s Chalk also recommends secure lockers and notes that opening some requires the Security Breach perk. The guide provides no quantified odds for lockers, so treat them as another search option rather than a higher-probability source.
How to decide whether to keep or sell it
Guides describe the Snowglobe as a collectible that can also be sold for in-game currency. Its best use for you depends on your active needs and whether you want to keep it for collecting.

- Check Raider Projects and trader requests first. Embark says trader offers rotate weekly and can include items for current Raider Projects. Review the in-game screens before selling or donating the Snowglobe. See Embark’s Nomadic Envoys announcement.
- Keep it if you value the collectible. The guides identify collecting as a reason to hold onto one.
- Sell it only after checking its current in-game value. The sources do not establish an exact sell price.
Why older Expedition advice may be outdated
PC Gamer’s March 2026 guide reported that three Snowglobes were needed for the third Expedition at the time. That is a historical guide claim, not a standing or current requirement. Embark’s later pages describe changes to Expedition progression and rewards, including The Fourth Expedition and The 5th Expedition. Check your current in-game project requirements rather than relying on an older count.
