All six Buddha’s Eyes are in Fright Cliff, in Chapter 2’s Yellow Wind Ridge. Collect them from Buddha heads, then interact with the faced boulder beside the Stone Vanguard arena entrance to deliver the set and summon the optional Shigandang boss.
Where to start the Buddha’s Eyes route
Reach Fright Cliff after defeating the King of Flowing Sands and his Son. From the Valley of Despair Keeper’s Shrine, cross the bridge opposite the shrine and pass through the large gate toward Squall Hideout. The first Buddha head is on this approach, between the gate and the Squall Hideout shrine. If you reach the shrine without finding it, turn back along the path.
Use the heads’ chanting or humming to help locate them; PC Gamer also describes them as glowing. Interact with each head to collect its eye. The middle collectibles are easiest to navigate by landmarks rather than by a rigid numbered sequence, since walkthroughs order them differently. Gamer Guides’ route provides the detailed landmark path, with PC Gamer and PowerPyx also covering the collectibles.
All six locations in Fright Cliff
1. On the approach to Squall Hideout
After crossing the bridge from Valley of Despair and passing through the large gate, check the path before reaching the Squall Hideout shrine. The first Buddha head is along this stretch.

2. At the altar in the cave branch
At Squall Hideout, face the shrine and turn left into the cave doorway. Follow the path to a statue among rocks, then take the path behind the statue to an altar. The Buddha head is at the altar’s base; enemies may be nearby.
3. Beside the wall beyond the archway
Return toward the statue and take the opposite path through the archway. Turn left just after passing through it. The head is beside the wall, while ranged enemies attack from across the gap.

5. Outside the Mother of Stones area
Return toward the statue and take the other branch, heading toward the wooden structure and Rockrest Flat. Unlock the Rockrest Flat shrine, then continue up the left-hand route toward the Mother of Stones area. The eye is outside the boss arena on the right. According to Gamer Guides’ route, you do not need to defeat Mother of Stones to collect it.

6. Beside the path to the Stone Vanguard arena
From Rockrest Flat, follow the path toward the Stone Vanguard arena. The final Buddha head is beside the path; approaching it may trigger an ambush.
Where to use the six Buddha’s Eyes
After collecting all six, continue from the final head into the large arena. The faced boulder is beside the entrance. Interact with it and deliver the eyes to summon Shigandang.
The arena is also associated with Stone Vanguard. Gamer Guides reports that if Stone Vanguard is still alive, the bosses fight and Shigandang may defeat it while taking damage. PC Gamer recommends defeating Stone Vanguard first but says it cannot confirm how the encounters interact. If you want a predictable boss fight, defeat Stone Vanguard before activating the boulder.

Gamer Guides and PC Gamer report that defeating Shigandang awards the Skandha of Feeling. Gamer Guides also lists Heart of Stone and Mind Core materials, and says Heart of Stone is needed for a weapon. These are guide-reported item details rather than drops confirmed here by an official game source.
