Go to the second floor: the safe is in a well-lit room, while the nearby radio is in a separate, darker room. Tune the radio until its signal aligns, listen for the combination, then enter that code at the safe. The combination can vary between players, so use the broadcast in your own game.
Where to find the Hunting Season safe
Head to the Village point of interest in the southwest part of the open mission map, southwest of the Layup. The Village is an enemy encampment. In its center, look for the large building with a flag on the roof. The safe and radio are on its second floor, in separate nearby rooms.

Look for the safe in a well-lit room and the radio in a darker room. Building descriptions and entrances vary between walkthroughs, so use the second-floor rooms as your guide rather than relying on the building’s stated number of floors.

How to solve the radio puzzle and open the safe
- Interact with the radio in the darker second-floor room.
- Adjust the signal until the waves align.
- Listen to the broadcast and note the combination it gives you.
- Go to the safe in the nearby bright room and enter that combination.
Do not rely on a code posted for another player: the combination may be random for each player, and the radio broadcast in your current game provides the code to use.

Is the safe required?
The safe is a side discovery in Hunting Season’s open-map exploration, not a required main-objective step. You can choose whether to search the Village; no particular approach to its enemy-held area is established as necessary for solving the safe.
Walkthroughs identify the safe as a discovery, but do not establish a reliable cash amount for it. Its exact reward should not be assumed from another player’s run.
