Activision announced Season 05 for August 7, 2025, at 9 a.m. Pacific across all platforms. Season 05 Reloaded arrived September 4, 2025, at 9 a.m. Pacific; its announcement was published September 2. Which Multiplayer maps were added?
Three maps were listed for the August launch, while Jackpot was a mid-season addition in the September 4 Reloaded update. Their classifications matter: Exchange was a small Strike map supporting 6v6 and 2v2, while the other three were medium-sized Core maps for 6v6.

The first half of the season also listed Aim High, Snipers Only, and Cranked Moshpit. Cranked Demolition, Ransack, and Blueprint Gunfight were announced for mid-season, alongside the Combat Bow Scorestreak.
What changed in Zombies?
Reckoning concluded the Black Ops 6 Zombies story
Reckoning took the crew into Janus Towers and was promoted as the conclusion of the Black Ops 6 Zombies storyline. Season materials also described the Mister Peeks Field Upgrade and Grief arenas for Reckoning as in-season additions.

Reloaded added a guided mode and Team Cranked
Season 05 Reloaded added Directed Mode for Reckoning, with additional Main Quest guidance and a maximum round cap of 15. The map also featured Uber Klaus and automated robots, the Gorgofex Wonder Weapon, and the C.A.S.T.E.R. Turret trap. Completing the Main Quest in Directed Mode earned a Calling Card variant, Weapon Charm, and XP.

The season announcement teased a destructive event at a major Verdansk point of interest. Reloaded described the result: Stadium’s roof was blown open and its interior became accessible in future Verdansk deployments.

Deadline was the Reloaded limited-time mode
Deadline placed squads of four among 100 players on Verdansk, alongside Hostile Soldiers. Players had unlimited respawns. They could earn score through eliminations, Contracts, looting, and Buy Stations. After each Circle Collapse, the lowest-scoring squads were eliminated and the score reset for the squads that survived.
