Für Konsolen berichtete PC Gamer von einer Freischaltung um Mitternacht Ortszeit am 14. November. Das war eine andere Freigabelogik als der für Europa angegebene PC-Zeitpunkt. Activisions PC-Ankündigung und die Zeitangaben von PC Gamer sollten daher plattformbezogen gelesen werden.
Wann begann der PC-Preload?
Activision gab den Preload für digitale PC-Vorbesteller ab dem 10. November 2025 um 09:00 Uhr PT an. Das entsprach in Deutschland 18:00 Uhr MEZ am selben Tag. Der Download umfasste Koop-Kampagne, Mehrspieler und Zombies. Der Preload-Termin galt laut Ankündigung für PC-Vorbesteller, nicht pauschal für alle Spieler oder Plattformen.

Wie viel Speicherplatz und welche PC-Voraussetzungen waren nötig?
Activision nannte zum Start mindestens 116 GB freien SSD-Speicher. Die Angabe galt sowohl für die Mindest- als auch die empfohlene Konfiguration. Verbindliche Updates können zusätzlichen Platz erfordern; die 116 GB sind deshalb nicht zwingend der gesamte Speicherbedarf über die Lebensdauer des Spiels.

Zum Start wurde Black Ops 7 für Xbox Series X|S und Xbox One, PlayStation 5 und PlayStation 4 sowie für PC über Xbox auf PC, Battle.net und Steam angeboten. Xbox Wire DACH nannte zusätzlich Cloud-Verfügbarkeit sowie den Zugang zum Start mit Game Pass Ultimate und PC Game Pass; unterstützt wurde außerdem Xbox Play Anywhere. Die Verfügbarkeit über Abonnements setzt ein aktives Abonnement voraus. Xbox Wire DACH erläutert Plattformen und Game-Pass-Zugang.
Für Konsolenspieler war laut Activision ein PlayStation-Plus- oder Game-Pass-Essential-Abonnement für soziale Funktionen und die meisten Modi außerhalb des Einzelspieler-Modus der Koop-Kampagne erforderlich. Für den PC führte Activision Game Pass Ultimate oder Game Pass PC als Zugangsoption auf.
