Yes. A child can register for Among Us after a parent or legal guardian completes Innersloth’s parental notice and verified-consent process. Whether the player counts as a child depends on the age for consent to personal-information processing in their country. Child accounts start in Quick-Chat Mode unless a parent or guardian permits otherwise.
How the child account and consent process works
Innersloth says child users go through a registration process similar to adults, with parental notice and verified consent required first. The game collects a parent or guardian’s email to begin that process; the email is sent to Kids Web Services (KWS), where the parent can set permissions for the child’s personal information. The exact screens can vary by platform and region, so there is no single set of steps that applies to every device.
Innersloth determines whether a player is a child using their date of birth, country, and IP address. Its privacy policy gives 13 as an example for the United States and 13–16 as examples across the European Union. Those are examples, not a complete country-by-country age guide. Check the policy for details: Innersloth Privacy Policy and Notice at Collection (effective July 1, 2023).
What changes on a child account
Registered child users receive randomized usernames by default. A parent or guardian can permit a custom username. Child accounts also start with Quick-Chat Mode, which restricts chat to fixed phrases and removes in-game social-media links. A parent or guardian may permit other settings through the consent process.

For an account with the required permission, the player can change the chat setting in-game: Settings → Data → Chat Type. Innersloth’s FAQ says the player must be logged in and have either a full account or parental permission to make this change. See the Innersloth FAQ.
Important exception: Apple or Google family sharing
Innersloth says a child using an Apple or Google family-sharing account cannot register another account with Innersloth. Those players are subject to the game’s most restrictive privacy settings. This restriction is separate from the usual child-account consent process, so check which kind of account your child is using before trying to register.

Among Us 3D and Among Us 3D: VR
Innersloth’s moderation guidance for Among Us 3D and Among Us 3D: VR directs players below their country’s digital-consent age, or their parents, to use the KWS account process. That guidance is specific to those 3D products; do not assume their registration screens are identical to standard Among Us. See Among Us 3D Moderation.

Innersloth says a parent or guardian may request access to, correction of, or deletion of a child’s retained personal information; request deletion of the account; or refuse further collection or use. The company may verify the parent’s identity before handling a request. The privacy policy explains these options and the information collected for accounts.
