Possible remedies go beyond a PSN sign-in block
After a violation, the licence says Sony may disable some or all system-software functions, disable online or offline use of the PS5, terminate access to PlayStation services, deny warranty or repair services, require automatic or mandatory updates, and take other remedial measures. These are contractual permissions, not a promise that Sony will apply every remedy in every case.
Account suspension and PS5 console suspension are different

Official firmware versus a jailbroken PS5
The practical choice is not simply “new features versus old features.” It is a trade-off between unrestricted access to Sony’s services and the ability to run modified software outside the supported platform.

Do not assume resetting the PS5 restores access
The cited licence does not promise that uninstalling modifications, restoring factory settings or reinstalling official software erases a previous violation. It also does not guarantee that PSN access, Store purchases or warranty eligibility will return after a reset. Treat any restoration step as technically separate from Sony’s enforcement decision.
