- What sustained outbound throughput and fair-use limits apply to 24/7 streaming?
- Which remote-control tools are supported, and is there storage for recordings?
No Indian provider’s GPU inventory, India-region availability, pricing, uptime commitment, driver compatibility, or 24/7 bandwidth guarantee is established here. Confirm those details directly with the provider; do not infer them from a generic cloud guide.

How to test vMix before production
- Obtain provider confirmation. Get written answers to the GPU/display, driver, Windows licensing, outbound-network, maintenance, and remote-access questions above for the exact instance size and region.
- Connect without relying on Windows Remote Desktop. vMix says not to use Remote Desktop (RDP) to control vMix in the cloud. Its guide names VNC, TeamViewer, AnyDesk, and Teradici as alternatives. Follow the provider’s instructions for a supported connection method. vMix cloud setup guide
- Check the display and GPU path. In the cloud guide’s setup, make the GPU-connected display the primary display and disable other Microsoft Basic Adapter displays. Verify the precise steps against the provider’s current driver and instance setup.
- Render a test MP4 in vMix. vMix recommends checking that a test MP4 renders; a blank MP4 indicates that the application may not be accessing the GPU. Passing this check is a useful compatibility test, not proof of sustained 24/7 reliability.
- Run the intended production load. Use the actual scene, inputs, outputs, resolution, frame rate, and encoder settings. Observe rendering and upload stability under representative load, and test stream health and reconnect behavior before scheduling a continuous broadcast.
vMix warns that performance in a shared cloud environment is not guaranteed. YouTube also recommends speed testing, testing a stream before going live, and monitoring stream health. Configure the YouTube encoder output
For a conventional YouTube ingest, YouTube recommends RTMPS and supports RTMP/RTMPS with H.264, H.265, or AV1. Its current guidance specifies constant bitrate (CBR), up to 60 frames per second, and a recommended two-second keyframe interval. For broad compatibility, H.264 is a practical default; use H.265 or AV1 only after confirming that your vMix version, GPU hardware encoder, and ingest workflow support the chosen format. vMix’s release notes mention YouTube Live support for these formats, while its documentation notes that AV1 and HEVC require supported GPU hardware encoding. Use the YouTube stream key safely
In YouTube Studio, create or select the live stream and use its stream key in the encoder workflow. Treat the key like a password: anyone who obtains it may be able to broadcast to that stream. YouTube’s current help information lists a maximum of 10 active streams per channel and 3 per stream key. Plan for continuous viewing and replay separately
A 24/7 public feed and a complete saved replay are different requirements. YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived; if a stream exceeds 12 hours, it may not be captured at all. Keep an independent local recording if preserving the complete program matters.
