Yes. In Dungeons & Dragons, you can combine wizard and cleric levels by multiclassing, provided the campaign allows multiclassing and your character meets the rules for the edition in use. Under the 2024 rules, this combination requires Intelligence 13 and Wisdom 13.
How to combine wizard and cleric
This is a multiclass character, not a single class that automatically grants both sets of features. When your character gains a level, multiclassing lets you take that level in another class if you meet the applicable prerequisites. The Dungeon Master determines whether the campaign uses this character-building option and whether any house rules apply.
Ability scores required
Under the 2024 rules, a character multiclassing into or out of wizard needs Intelligence 13, and a character multiclassing into or out of cleric needs Wisdom 13. A wizard/cleric therefore needs both scores at 13 or higher. Check the rulebook for your campaign’s edition before applying those thresholds.
What happens to spells and spell slots?
Spell slots are shared across the multiclass progression
Wizard and cleric levels both contribute to the multiclass spell-slot calculation. That shared pool can give you slots of a higher level than the spells you can prepare. You can use a higher-level slot to cast or enhance an eligible lower-level spell, but having that slot does not by itself let you prepare a higher-level wizard or cleric spell.

Each class determines its own prepared spells
Your wizard levels determine which wizard spells you can prepare, while your cleric levels determine which cleric spells you can prepare. Spell access is calculated separately for each class; levels in one class do not count as levels in the other for this purpose.
Spellcasting ability follows the class
Wizard spells use Intelligence, and cleric spells use Wisdom. A spell remains associated with the class through which you prepare or gain it, so multiclassing does not make one ability score govern all your spells.

Use the rules edition your table has chosen
The 2014 and 2024 rules are distinct versions. The 2024 Basic Rules explain multiclassing prerequisites, class-based spell preparation, and shared spell slots in the current rules framework. The 2014 Basic Rules contain legacy multiclassing and spellcasting rules. Use the version your campaign has adopted rather than mixing wording or assumptions between them.
