No—Roblox does not document a legitimate way to bypass its age checks. If you need an age-gated feature, use one of Roblox’s supported checks: facial age estimation, or your own government-issued photo ID if you’re at least 13. If Roblox has the wrong birthday or estimated age for you, use the correction route that applies to your account rather than a bypass service.
What Roblox age checks cover
Roblox says age checks are required for chat, Restricted Content, unfiltered chat with trusted friends, and TeamCreate collaboration in Studio. The platform may add more age-checked features. What is available can also depend on your region, account settings, and, in some cases, parental approval; age groups and controls are not identical everywhere. Roblox documents two ways to complete an age check: facial age estimation and ID verification. ID verification is available only to users aged 13 or older.

How to complete an age check
Use facial age estimation
- Open Settings > Account Info.
- Choose the facial age estimation option and follow the on-screen prompts. Roblox analyzes face images and video; regional rules may require parental approval.
- If Roblox cannot estimate your age, its instructions say you’ll need to use ID verification instead, if eligible.
Verify with ID if you’re 13 or older
- Go to Settings > Account Info and choose Continue with ID.
- Allow camera access, then scan your own government-issued photo ID.
- Take the requested photo so the service can compare you with the ID. Roblox says the result appears in your Roblox session and may take a few minutes.
Roblox’s ID verification instructions describe the steps. No special camera accessory or scanning device is specified.

If Roblox estimated your age incorrectly
The right correction depends on the age currently shown on your account and the type of mistake. Roblox’s age-check guidance points to these routes:
- Your account age is over 13: Roblox says you can verify your birthday with ID if you believe facial estimation got your age wrong.
- Your account age is under 13: Use the pencil icon beside the birthday in Settings > Account Info, where that option is available.
- You’re under 18 and a parent is linked: The linked parent can update the child’s birthday in the applicable case. Roblox says the parent can make this change once.
- You were mistakenly age-checked as 18 or older: Roblox directs users to its separate age-change instructions.
For one specific case, Roblox says that if you self-report as over 13 but facial estimation places you under 13, a 48-hour grace period applies before the age group is officially updated. You can manually accept the outcome to skip that wait. Roblox does not describe this timing as applying to every correction.

Roblox says customer support cannot manually verify IDs, remove existing verifications, or update account settings. Use the correction options Roblox provides for your situation.
What to know about privacy
Facial age estimation and ID verification are separate processes. Roblox says the face images and video used for facial age estimation are deleted after processing; its privacy policy also says the selfie is deleted when that estimation is complete.

For ID verification, Roblox’s biometric data notice says Persona assists with verification, captures an ID and selfie, and reviews face geometry extracted from them. The notice says Roblox does not receive or have access to the biometric data described there, and that Persona deletes that biometric data within 30 days after collection unless law requires longer retention. It separately says Roblox may access the ID photo and selfie stored by Persona for training, product improvement, and compliance purposes. These statements concern ID verification, not facial age estimation.

Roblox does not document an approved bypass service or workaround. Avoid services or instructions that ask you to falsify your age, use someone else’s ID, manipulate camera input, or hand over account details. They are not Roblox’s stated verification routes, and they do not correct an inaccurate birthday through the platform’s documented process.
