You can’t directly convert Riot Points (RP) into Valorant Points (VP). Riot’s support material treats them as separate currencies and provides no conversion method or exchange rate. To get VP, use a separate route such as an official purchase or a compatible prepaid card; neither transfers an existing RP balance.

Why RP cannot be exchanged for VP

Riot identifies RP with League of Legends and VP with VALORANT as distinct purchasable currencies. The available Riot support pages do not offer an RP-to-VP exchange, so there is no official conversion ratio to calculate. Riot’s chargeback guidance, displayed as published October 14, 2025, lists them separately. Don’t rely on third-party sites claiming to exchange one balance for the other.

How to get VP instead

Buy VP through VALORANT

VALORANT’s store uses VP for its listed purchases. Riot’s store guide, published April 8, 2024, describes obtaining VP through real-world payment methods. Check the options and terms shown for your account and region.

Redeem a prepaid card or code

A prepaid card adds VP; it does not convert RP. Riot’s prepaid-card instructions, published February 4, 2022, explain redeeming a code in the VALORANT PC client and spending the resulting VP.

Avoid unofficial currency sellers

Use Riot’s official purchase or redemption routes rather than a third party promising to convert or sell premium currency. Riot’s chargeback guidance warns against third-party premium-currency purchases and says buyers may be responsible for the full amount if a transaction causes problems. The cited page is in Thai, so consult the current localized Riot support terms for your region.
