How to meet Kyra
Kyra leads a rebellion against an Athenian tyrant on Mykonos and Delos. You meet her after spending some time sailing around the Aegean, when Barnabas delivers her letter asking for help. Her romance is part of the Silver Islands story, not a user-created Story Creator tale.
How to pursue Kyra’s romance
- Respond to Kyra’s call for help. Follow the letter Barnabas delivers and begin the Silver Islands quests.
- Continue Kyra’s character quests. Ubisoft’s broad guidance is to complete character quests and choose dialogue options marked with a heart when available; these choices can open one-on-one romance quests.
- Choose between Kyra and Thaletas. They already have feelings for one another when the player arrives. Ubisoft says you can romance one of the two freedom fighters, not both.
Ubisoft’s official guide describes the resulting romantic moment with Kyra on a Mykonos beach. The official articles do not provide a complete dialogue script or a definitive list of every romance lockout, so an exact sequence of supposedly mandatory choices cannot be verified from those sources.
Kyra or Thaletas: what changes?
The romance choice is tied to the rebellion’s story. Kyra favors sabotaging Athenian supplies, while Thaletas proposes naval attacks. Ubisoft says players can pursue both strategic plans, even after choosing which to follow first.

No DLC requirement is stated for Kyra’s Silver Islands romance: Ubisoft presents it as part of the game’s character-quest romance system. A separate Ubisoft post-launch article describes Lost Tales of Greece as free content unlocked after Episode 5, but that is not evidence that Kyra’s romance requires that content.
