Yes. Equip a scythe in each hand to use Elden Ring’s paired-weapon attacks. Scythes are classified as Reapers, so the weapons must share that armament type—but they do not need to be the same scythe.
How to dual-wield scythes
- Equip a Reaper in one hand and another Reaper in the other. You can use two copies of the same weapon or mix different scythes.
- Use the paired-attack input: L1 on PlayStation, LB on Xbox, or right-click on PC keyboard and mouse by default. Remapped controls may differ.
The paired-weapon system gives weapons of the same armament type new attacks that swing both weapons from one input. Player-discussion examples include Grave Scythe paired with Halo Scythe or Winged Scythe; these are illustrations, not a ranking of the combinations.

Where to find a scythe
Scythe
A basic Scythe can be found on a body in Cliffbottom Catacombs, in southeast Liurnia of the Lakes. Four stone imps guard the area. The weapon reference lists 55 blood-loss buildup for the Scythe; that figure is specific to this weapon, not a general measure of every Reaper or a promise of its buildup in a paired attack. Halo Scythe
Halo Scythe is a Reaper associated with Cleanrot Knights. It deals holy damage and has the unique skill Miquella’s Ring of Light. Its listed attribute requirements are 13 Strength, 16 Dexterity, and 15 Faith; those requirements do not apply to scythes generally. Elden Ring Wiki.gg: Halo Scythe

Does dual-wielding double bleed buildup?
Do not assume that two scythes simply double status buildup. Bandai Namco’s patch 1.07 notes, published 13 October 2022, say that status buildup from dual-wielded weapons was decreased. The notes do not provide current per-attack buildup values, so they are not enough to calculate how much bleed a particular paired move applies. The same patch notes say guard penetration was increased for Scythe, Grave Scythe, Halo Scythe, and Winged Scythe.
