Yes. Deliberately using or arranging bot followers can put your Roblox account at risk. Roblox says bot accounts violate its Community Standards and Terms of Use, and its Terms allow it to suspend or terminate accounts for violations. That does not mean every case leads to a ban: Roblox says moderation depends on factors such as severity, impact and account history.
What Roblox says about botting
Roblox’s Terms of Use reserve the company’s right to suspend or terminate an account, and access to Roblox services, when a user violates its terms, including the Community Standards. The terms also say this action can apply to alternate accounts.
In an official post dated August 19, 2026, Roblox stated that bot accounts violate its Community Standards and Terms of Use and that it works to detect them. The post announced an ongoing effort to remove bot accounts and roll back follows, pending friend requests, votes and group joins associated with those accounts. Read Roblox’s announcement.
What can happen if you arrange bot followers?
Roblox’s public rules establish that account sanctions are possible, but they do not publish a follower threshold or a fixed penalty for follow botting. The moderation guidance says actions can vary based on the severity and impact of a violation and a user’s history; repeated violations may bring increasing consequences. So a particular number of bot followers does not establish a guaranteed ban—or immunity from review.

What if bots follow you without your involvement?
Roblox says it may roll back follows originating from bot accounts it removes. Its public statements do not specify a separate penalty rule for someone who merely receives unwanted bot followers. Do not assume that a sudden increase automatically means you will be banned, or that receiving bot follows guarantees you are safe from review.
If this happens, avoid arranging more bot activity or using a service that asks for your Roblox password. Keep any relevant account notices, and contact Roblox Support if you need help with your account.

Should you install a follower bot or exploit?
No. Roblox warns that exploits can violate its Terms and that exploit downloads may contain malware or phishing programs. That warning specifically addresses exploits and cheating, not every service marketed as a follower tool, but it is a strong reason not to install suspicious software or hand over your credentials. If Roblox moderates your account and you believe the decision was mistaken, you can request a review through its appeal process. The Terms direct users to Roblox Support to start an appeal, and Roblox’s moderation guidance describes the review route. An appeal is an opportunity to ask for review, not a promise that the decision will be reversed.
