No general setting to hide your Roblox friends list is documented in Roblox Support’s current guidance. Roblox describes a Friends section on profiles and says visitors can use See All to view the full list. Settings for online status and the experience you’re playing affect those details, not the friends list.
Can you make your Roblox friends list private?
Roblox’s profile guidance says a profile’s Friends section lists up to nine friends and offers a See All option when the player has more than nine. The guidance does not identify a control to hide that section or make the full list private. Roblox also says users can have up to 1,000 friends, but that limit is separate from profile visibility.
That is what Roblox’s published guidance establishes; it does not confirm whether list display differs for particular regions, ages, or account states. If what you see on your account does not match the guidance, contact Roblox Support for an account-specific answer.
What the privacy settings actually control
Roblox documents controls for whether selected audiences can see your online status and current experience. These affect presence and gameplay information, not the Friends section on your profile.

- Open Settings. On desktop, select the gear icon at the top right. On mobile, select More at the bottom right, then Settings.
- Go to Privacy & content restrictions → Visibility & private servers → Visibility.
- Review Online Status and Show current experience and choose the available audience settings for each.
Roblox says people outside the audience you select will see you as offline, or will not see the experience you are playing. The labels or placement may change, so follow the current options shown in your account. Neither setting is documented as hiding your friends list. See Roblox’s Online Status and Visibility guidance.

Roblox’s parental-controls overview describes ways for parents to view a child’s friends and block or report a friend; it does not describe a control for hiding the list from profile visitors. Likewise, Roblox’s friend-management guidance mentions communication settings under Privacy & content restrictions, but those settings govern interactions rather than the visibility of the Friends section.

If you need the list itself not to appear, Roblox’s reviewed guidance does not establish an in-product setting that achieves that. Do not rely on going offline or changing communication settings to hide it; ask Roblox Support about your account if you need clarification.
