Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsNo. Aternos does not offer 24/7 hosting: its server stops automatically after the last player leaves. While at least one player is online and active, there is no fixed playtime limit. Aternos recommends its paid service, exaroton, if you need a server to remain available when nobody is playing. Aternos Help Center: 24/7 Hosting
What happens when everyone leaves?
Aternos stops empty servers to free limited resources for other players. When the last player leaves, a stop countdown appears on the server page. If it appears while someone is trying to join, pressing the “+1” button adds one minute. Once a player is online, the countdown disappears; it returns after the last player leaves. That extra minute is a short grace period, not a way to keep an empty server running indefinitely. Aternos Help Center: Stop countdown
Aternos explains the policy plainly: “Since we want to offer free servers for everyone, 24/7 hosting is not possible.” Aternos Help Center: 24/7 Hosting
Can you use a bot, script, or auto-restart to keep it online?
No. Aternos prohibits attempts to fake player activity or bypass the automatic shutdown. Its rules cover fake players such as bots, artificial activity, automatic or repeated restarts intended to prolong the stop routine, and automated access to or actions on the Aternos website. Aternos says it may detect and shut down servers kept online this way; violations can also lead to account restrictions or suspension. Its terms state that account suspension can result in deletion of the account and related servers and data, and that server data is permanently deleted after seven days of suspension. How exaroton charges for use
Under exaroton’s terms accessed in 2026, billing includes a basic fee of 10 credits per server every 30 days, plus one credit per assigned GiB of RAM per hour while the server runs. Runtime is calculated per second and rounded up to a hundredth of a credit. If there are not enough credits to renew a period, the terms say the server is deleted immediately. Check the current terms and pricing before committing, and do not treat any hosting service as a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. exaroton Terms of Service

Back up your world before switching
Make a backup before changing hosting arrangements. Aternos’s terms warn that data loss can occur and describe linked backups that can be restored to a newly created server. Some information, including the server address and server ID, cannot be restored. Backups belonging to a suspended account cannot be accessed or restored, so do not rely on them as a recovery option if an account is suspended. Aternos Terms of Service
