Who can you romance in Starfield?
The romanceable companions are Sarah Morgan, Sam Coe, Barrett, and Andreja. Bethesda identifies them as Constellation companions and says miscellaneous crew members do not have romance options or unique quests. Bethesda Support’s companion information is in French; this is a paraphrase of its guidance.

Why marrying all four is uncertain
The standard relationship path is to build affinity with a companion, advance through relationship dialogue, complete their personal quest, and choose commitment. PC Gamer describes marriage as following commitment. In contrast, Prima Games says you must break up with a current companion before trying to marry another, and reports that its author could not reproduce a player’s claim of marrying two.

Some players later claimed they married all four by managing companions’ reactions. One Reddit post describes the approach, but it is a community report—not official documentation or a verified guarantee. The available sources do not establish that the workaround is repeatable or works across game versions.

How to pursue a companion’s marriage
- Recruit one of the four Constellation companions and have them accompany you.
- Choose actions and dialogue that fit that character’s outlook. Bethesda says companion reactions depend on whether your choices align with their moral perspective. The PC Gamer guide says the game does not show a numeric affinity meter.
- Respond to the companion’s personal conversations and complete their unique quest.
- Choose the Romance and then Commitment dialogue options when they appear. PC Gamer describes marriage as the next stage after commitment.
PC Gamer lists these companion quests: Sarah’s “In Memoriam,” Sam’s “Listen To Your Hart,” Barrett’s “Breach of Contract,” and Andreja’s “Divided Loyalties.” Follow the in-game prompts; the quest names and progression details are guide advice rather than an official guarantee.

Invest these raw materials into research projects to unlock unique crafting recipes.
- LOCK AND LOAD - Space can be a dangerous place. A refined combat system gives you the tools to deal with any situation. Whether you prefer long-range rifles, laser weapons, or demolitions, each weapon type can be modified to complement your playstyle. - Sam Coe: Speak positively about his daughter Cora, support the Freestar Collective or Freestar Rangers, and favor law-abiding choices.
- Sarah Morgan: Support Constellation and the UC Vanguard, follow the law, favor justice for criminals, and show kindness.
- Barrett: Use humor, help people, take initiative, and bend rules when it is useful.
- Andreja: Show loyalty, consider sarcastic or sassy responses, tolerate some lawbreaking, and support House Va’ruun.

Because the all-four method is only player-reported and the standard guidance says relationships are exclusive, make a separate save before experimenting. A Reddit report describes calming an upset partner before continuing with another relationship, but Bethesda has not documented this as a supported mechanic, and the sources do not establish that it works reliably. Avoid treating it as a step-by-step solution or assuming a particular game version will behave the same way.
