You can’t merge two Fortnite or Epic Games accounts. Epic says there is no way to combine accounts, and Support cannot merge them. V-Bucks, purchases, cosmetics, progress, and friends lists cannot be transferred from one account to another. If you want to play on multiple devices, link those platforms to the one Epic account with the Fortnite progress you want to keep.
What “merging” Fortnite accounts would mean
If you mean combining the contents of two Epic Games accounts—such as skins, purchases, V-Bucks, friends, or progress—Epic does not offer that option. Epic Games Support states: “There is no way to merge two Epic Games accounts.” Epic Games Help: Can I merge my Epic Games accounts?

Items and cosmetics remain on the Epic account where they were purchased, earned, or claimed. Epic also says V-Bucks, Epic Games Store purchases, in-game items, and friends lists cannot be transferred between accounts. Epic Games Help: Fortnite items and cosmetics
Choose the account whose progress you want to keep
Before unlinking a console or other platform, sign in to the Epic accounts involved and check which one holds the Fortnite progress you want. Epic recommends checking the main account’s progress before changing links. You can review connected platform accounts on Epic’s Accounts page.

There are two different situations to consider:
| Goal | Supported action | What to expect | Important limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Play on multiple devices | Link each platform account to the same Epic account | The chosen Epic account’s progress is available on linked platforms | This does not combine progress from separate Epic accounts; V-Bucks have a platform exception |
| Fix a platform linked to the wrong Epic account | Identify the Epic account with the desired progress, then follow Epic’s unlink and relink instructions | The platform connects to the selected Epic account | Unlinking does not move progress, and switching same-platform accounts may require removing a restriction |
Use one Epic account across your devices
Linking is the supported way to access one account’s Fortnite progress on more than one device. It does not combine the progress or contents of two Epic accounts. Epic says only one account of each platform type can be linked to an Epic account at a time, and a platform account cannot be linked to multiple Epic accounts. Epic Games Help: How to sync your account
Epic’s cross-platform guidance says content and progress can be accessed on supported platforms linked to the same Epic account, with V-Bucks as an exception. Epic Games Help: Cross-platform content and progress

Correct a platform linked to the wrong account
- Confirm which Epic account contains the Fortnite progress you intend to use, and check the connected platforms on Epic’s Accounts page.
- Use Epic’s platform unlinking and relinking instructions to change the connection. Check which Epic account is signed in and which platform account is selected before confirming.
- If you are switching to a different account of the same platform type, check whether a linking restriction applies. Epic says removing this restriction is allowed only once every 365 days and cannot be bypassed. Epic Games Help: Linking a different platform account
- If the platform account being removed has an active Fortnite Crew subscription, cancel it first to avoid losing future rewards from that subscription.
Changing a link changes which Epic account’s progress the platform accesses; it does not transfer the old account’s progress to the new one.

- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
