Why PS4 and Xbox One do not meet the two-game requirement

Activision lists both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for Black Ops 7. If you only want the new Call of Duty, either older console appears on the supported-platform list.
They are not listed for GTA VI

Activision states that Black Ops 7 is scheduled for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Xbox PC, Battle.net, and Steam. That broad list is why older consoles remain viable for Call of Duty alone, while they are not enough for the two-game combination.

Choose the platform where your existing purchases and friends are
Your current digital library, account history, accessories, and friends list may matter more than the game licenses themselves. Check which platform your regular multiplayer group uses and whether your existing headset, storage expansion, or controller setup is compatible before buying another console.
Check the exact edition before paying
For Xbox, verify whether the product includes Play Anywhere access and the Series X|S version. You need enough free storage for both installations, patches, and temporary download space. The official platform statements cited for these games do not provide final install-size figures, so do not rely on a guessed number or an old listing. Check the console store page and the publisher’s final system requirements when each game’s download information is published.
- Leave more free space than the initial download size because launch patches and updates can require additional room.
- Use the store page for the exact edition: PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS4, or Xbox One packages may have different files.
- If you buy a disc, expect the console to install data and potentially download updates; a disc does not necessarily contain the complete final build.
- On a digital purchase, confirm that the game is tied to the account you intend to use and that the console is set as the appropriate home or primary device under the platform’s account rules.
