Meeting the minimum means your Mac falls within the published baseline; it does not guarantee high settings or consistently smooth performance. The listed recommended Mac is an M3 with 16 GB RAM. The official requirements also warn that the game may not function properly on some M1 configurations.
Which Macs can run inZOI?
- M1: Supported on paper with 16 GB RAM and macOS Sequoia 15.0 or later, but treat it as a minimum configuration and expect to adjust settings.
- M2, M3, and M4: These processor generations meet the Apple Silicon requirement, provided the Mac also has at least 16 GB RAM, enough storage, and a supported macOS version.

- Sign in to the Steam account that owns inZOI.
- Open your Steam library and select inZOI.
- Choose Install, select the installation location, and confirm that sufficient storage is available.
- Launch the game after the download finishes.
A Steam purchase is shared between Windows and macOS, according to the official Steam-license FAQ. Therefore, an existing Windows Steam owner does not need to purchase a second copy to access inZOI on Mac.
If Steam does not offer the Mac installation, check the account, restart Steam, confirm the Mac meets every requirement, and make sure the installation is complete. Do not assume that buying the App Store edition will fix a Steam account or hardware problem.

If you already own inZOI on Steam, install it on Mac through Steam instead of buying the Mac App Store version again. NVIDIA currently lists macOS 10.15 or later and Macs introduced in 2009 or later, plus network guidance of 15 Mbps for HD up to 60 fps, 25 Mbps for 1080p up to 60 fps, and latency below 80 ms to an NVIDIA data center. Wired Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi is recommended.

Unofficial Windows compatibility tools
CrossOver, Whisky, Parallels, and similar tools should be considered experiments, not the primary solution. The native Mac build makes a compatibility layer unnecessary on supported Apple Silicon Macs, while DirectX 12 translation, launchers, updates, graphics features, and game-specific behavior may be unreliable. - Confirm the Mac uses Apple Silicon and has at least 16 GB RAM.
- Free more than the 36 GB installation minimum.
- Update the game and Steam or the App Store.
- Close resource-heavy applications.
- Keep a laptop connected to power during long sessions.
- Lower the resolution or graphics preset and test an actual gameplay save, not only the title screen.
- On Steam, verify that you are signed in to the account that owns the game.
- If the problem continues, consult the official inZOI Installation & Launching support center.
Possible causes include an unsupported macOS version, Intel hardware, insufficient RAM or storage, an incomplete installation, outdated software, Steam/App Store permission issues, or an M1-specific compatibility problem. Can an M1 Mac run inZOI?
