Those events have ended, so there is no longer a way to register for or attend them. They were previews, not an early retail sale.
How did the Switch 2 early-play events work?
Nintendo offered hands-on time with the system at public events in New York City, Los Angeles and Dallas. To seek a ticket, a person needed a Nintendo Account and had to register during the stated application window. Tickets were assigned by random drawing; registering sooner did not improve an applicant’s chance. Nintendo’s policy, as quoted in Kotaku’s January 16, 2025 report, was that “everyone who registers will have an equal chance of being selected.” Kotaku’s report on the event and ticket process.

Registration opened January 17 and closed at noon local time on January 26, 2025, for each city. That window is historical, not a current application opportunity.

What games could visitors play?
When Kotaku published its January 16, 2025 account, Nintendo had not confirmed the event’s game lineup. The report noted what appeared to be a new Mario Kart game, but that was not a confirmed full lineup. That early report should not be read as a description of everything attendees eventually got to play.

The Switch 2 Experience was a time-limited event, and its registration and attendance dates are over. Nintendo’s current US product hub is the official destination for present-day system and buying information; it is not a sign-up page for the 2025 preview events.
