Can you play One Piece Bounty Rush on PC? Steam platforms, controls, crossplay, and account setup

Yes. ONE PIECE Bounty Rush has an official, free-to-play PC release on Steam. You can play with a keyboard and mouse or a controller, and you can use an existing mobile account through Multi-Login. The important catch is that linking a mobile account to Steam is effectively permanent: Bandai Namco says Multi-Login cannot be disabled and the associated Steam account cannot be changed.

What the PC version is and where it is available

The PC edition is the official Steam version of ONE PIECE Bounty Rush, rather than an Android emulator or an unofficial port. Bandai Namco lists the game on Steam, the Apple App Store, and Google Play. Steam lists the PC edition as free to play, so you do not need to buy a separate PC license to start playing.

Steam gives the PC release date as September 23, 2024. Installing it through the Steam client is the supported way to play on Windows. The PC version uses the same broad account ecosystem as mobile, but platform-specific rules affect currencies, rankings, and some battle modes.

Steam separately notes that using its DirectX 12 API requires Windows 10 version 1809 or later and a graphics processor with 4 GB of VRAM. Treat those as additional API conditions, not as permission to disregard the listing’s Windows 11 requirement.

The Steam store estimates 1080p at 60 frames per second on low settings with minimum hardware and at high settings with recommended hardware. Those are storefront estimates, not independent benchmark results. Steam also warns that frame rates can fall in graphics-intensive scenes, so a system that meets the table should not be treated as a guarantee of a locked 60 fps in every situation.

How to install Bounty Rush on a PC

1. Install and sign in to the Steam client on a Windows PC that meets the listed requirements.
2. Search Steam for ONE PIECE Bounty Rush and open the official game listing.
3. Choose the install option and select a drive with at least 7 GB available. Keeping additional free space can make future updates easier to apply.

Mobile touch controls

Mobile uses touch input, while the Steam edition gives you the choice of keyboard and mouse or controller. That input difference is the main practical reason to choose one platform over the other; it does not, by itself, determine which account data you own.

Using an existing mobile account on Steam

If your characters, items, and progress are already on a mobile account, use Multi-Login rather than starting a second account. The sequence matters: link the data on mobile first, then select Multi-Login on the Steam title screen.

Mobile-to-Steam steps

1. Open the mobile version and open the in-game menu.
2. Choose Link Data and follow the precautions shown in the game.
3. Start the Steam version and wait for its title screen.
4. Choose Multi-Login.
5. Select the same linking method that you used on mobile. Bandai Namco identifies Apple IDs, Google account IDs, and Bandai Namco IDs as available methods on its Steam information page.
6. Complete the sign-in or authorization prompts and confirm that the expected player data appears before playing.

Bandai Namco’s support guidance specifically says to perform Link Data on the mobile version before setting up Multi-Login through the Multi-Login option on the PC version’s Steam title screen.

The irreversible Steam association

Read the account warnings before confirming. Bandai Namco states that once Multi-Login is enabled, it cannot be disabled and the Steam account cannot be changed. In practical terms, check the Steam account currently signed in to the client before you approve the association. A shared family computer or a PC with several Steam accounts deserves extra care.

The publisher also warns that creating a new Bounty Rush account on Steam and linking it to a Steam account cannot be undone. If your goal is to bring over mobile progress, do not enter the new-account path first. Stop and use Link Data on mobile followed by Multi-Login on Steam.

Moving a Steam account to mobile

The reverse direction is supported as well. First create the data link from Steam, then retrieve it on mobile with the same method.

1. On Steam, open the game and use its data-link function, following the in-game precautions.
2. Open the mobile title screen.
3. Choose Multi-Login.
4. Select the same Apple ID, Google account ID, or Bandai Namco ID method used on Steam.
5. Confirm that the correct account loads before continuing.

The same association warnings apply. Use the intended Steam account and the intended linking identity before confirming, because the publisher does not provide a way to disable Multi-Login or switch the associated Steam account afterward.

What Multi-Login shares between PC and mobile

Multi-Login lets one account be used on one mobile device and one Steam account. Most progression and collection data follows the account, but some competitive records and currency handling remain separated by platform.

The separate Rainbow Diamond treatment is easy to misunderstand. Having a linked account does not mean the displayed balance is one universal pool. When Rainbow Diamonds are claimable, Bandai Namco says the platform that receives them is selected through the Gift Box control.

PC and mobile crossplay: what actually works

A linked account does not make every mode cross-platform. Steam and mobile crossplay is available for Room Matches, Free Matches, and Alliance Battles. League Battles do not support crossplay, and Championship is currently mobile-only.

Bandai Namco says nearly all other battle types are available on PC, but the listed exceptions are important if your group or competitive routine depends on a particular mode. Friends on phones can join you in the supported crossplay activities; they should not expect League Battles or Championship to behave the same way.

PC versus mobile: the practical choice

Choose Steam if a larger display and physical controls matter more than mobile-only Championship access. Choose mobile when portability or that mode is essential. If you use both, link the account deliberately and remember that platform-specific ranks will not merge.

Common setup mistakes and fixes

Starting the Steam game before linking mobile data

Symptom: Steam opens a fresh account and you cannot find your mobile characters or items.

Fix: Do not proceed as though the new Steam profile is the mobile profile. Return to the mobile version, use Link Data, then relaunch Steam and choose Multi-Login. If you have already linked a newly created Steam game account, Bandai Namco warns that the Steam link cannot be undone, so avoid confirming that path when your intention is to recover mobile progress.

Using the wrong Steam account

Symptom: The game is open under a family member’s, work, or secondary Steam account.

Fix: Exit the game, verify the Steam client account, and only then begin Multi-Login. The publisher says the associated Steam account cannot be changed after Multi-Login is enabled.

Choosing a different linking method

Symptom: Multi-Login completes but loads a different or empty profile.

Fix: Use the same identity method on both platforms. An Apple ID, Google account ID, and Bandai Namco ID are distinct choices; selecting a different one can point the game to a different account.

Expecting every currency or rank to match

Symptom: Your player level and collection appear correctly, but Rainbow Diamonds or League Rank differs.

Fix: This can be normal. Rainbow Diamonds, League Ranks, and other rankings are maintained separately by platform. For claimable Rainbow Diamonds, use the Gift Box control to select the intended receiving version.

Expecting mobile-only or unsupported crossplay modes

Symptom: A mobile friend cannot join a League Battle with you, or Championship is missing on Steam.

Fix: Use Room Matches, Free Matches, or Alliance Battles for Steam–mobile play. League Battles do not support crossplay, and Championship is currently mobile-only.

Performance below the store estimate

Symptom: Frame rate falls even though the computer meets the listed specification.

Fix: Treat the 1080p/60-fps figures as estimates rather than guarantees. Try the low or high preset appropriate to your hardware, close other demanding applications, and remember Steam’s warning that graphics-intensive scenes can reduce frame rate. Meeting the minimum table does not promise the recommended visual settings.

Insufficient space or an unsupported configuration

Symptom: Steam refuses installation or the game will not run as expected.

Fix: Confirm at least 7 GB of available storage, a 64-bit Windows installation, the listed CPU and GPU class, and DirectX 11 support. If you are specifically trying DirectX 12, also check the separate Windows 10 version 1809-or-later and 4 GB VRAM conditions; do not use that note to overlook the store’s main Windows 11 listing.
