There is no supported way to install GTA V mods on a standard Xbox One. Rockstar’s published guidance for single-player and Story Mode mods applies to PC, not Xbox One, and the Xbox store listing does not advertise a mod-installation feature. That means there is no legitimate Xbox One procedure to follow for adding mods.
Why GTA V mods aren’t supported on Xbox One
Rockstar’s guidance on single-player and Story Mode mods is explicitly scoped to PC. It does not provide instructions or support for installing mods on Xbox One. The Xbox listing for Grand Theft Auto V identifies the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S versions but does not advertise a mod-installation feature.

In other words, there is no supported Xbox One method involving a download, USB drive, menu, or accessory. A Microsoft Community response also says console mod installation is unsupported, but that is community guidance—not an official Xbox policy statement.
Don’t use mods or cheats in GTA Online
Story Mode mod guidance for PC is not permission to use mods in GTA Online or to alter the online experience. Rockstar says that modding online games, interfering with other players’ experience, and related abuse can result in account suspension. Read Rockstar’s account-impact policy before taking any action that affects online play.

Avoid instructions advertising money lobbies, account boosting, mod menus, or supposedly “undetected” cheats. They do not create a supported installation route, and online modifications can put your account at risk.
What to do if you want to play with mods
If mods are the priority, PC is the platform covered by Rockstar’s cited single-player mod guidance. Treat that as a different platform choice, not an Xbox One workaround: Xbox instructions, files, or accessories do not enable PC mods on the console.

If keeping your existing progress matters, consider the transfer limits before changing platforms. Rockstar says eligible Xbox One players may migrate Story Mode and Online progress to Xbox Series X|S, but console-family profiles cannot migrate to PC.
