Once a timed MONOPOLY GO event ends, its ordinary milestone and tournament track is no longer replayable, and rewards generally must be claimed before the event timer reaches zero. A few features have narrowly stated exceptions: Racers says unopened lap rewards carry into the next round, while some limited paid offers show a reminder popup after expiry. Those rules do not create a general way to reopen an event or recover every expired reward.
What happens to each type of MONOPOLY GO reward?
Your recovery options depend on the feature, not simply on whether you missed a button. Use this distinction before assuming a reward is permanently lost or asking support to restore it.

Why the event timer matters
Timed events are server-controlled account features. The countdown is not merely a visual reminder: it marks the period in which the game accepts claims under that event’s rules. When the event closes, the milestone panel may disappear, points may stop converting into prizes, and the claim control may no longer be available.
Racers illustrates the important distinction. Its official guidance states: “Any unopened rewards will carry over into the next round, but all rewards must be claimed before the Racers Event ends.” “Carry over” refers to unopened lap rewards moving to the next round; it does not mean you can replay the completed event, restore an old milestone track, or claim indefinitely after the final Racers deadline.

Carry-over is not replay
If you saw a reward listed as unopened and the instructions promise a next-round carry-over, check that next round as soon as it begins. If the final event has ended, however, the carry-over window has also ended unless the game presents a specific collection prompt. Do not infer a general carry-over policy for tournaments or unrelated events from the Racers wording.
Quick Wins has its own clock and claim step
Quick Wins does not operate like a single multi-day milestone ladder. The MONOPOLY GO Help Center says you receive three tasks each day and must complete them within a 24-hour timeframe. Completing the action alone is not enough: the instructions also say to press “Tap to Claim!” to add the points to the weekly prize bar at the bottom of the Quick Wins page.
The daily reset
The published Quick Wins guidance places the daily reset at 1pm UTC. Convert that time to your local zone rather than relying on midnight in your region. A task completed shortly before 1pm UTC can therefore belong to the expiring window, while a task started just after the reset belongs to the next one.

Quick Wins checklist
- Open the Quick Wins page before the current 24-hour window ends.
- Complete all three displayed tasks.
- Press “Tap to Claim!” for each completed task; do not leave the points in a pending state.
- Confirm that the weekly prize bar increased.
- Check the page again after the 1pm UTC reset if a task set appears to have changed unexpectedly.
If the task was visibly completed but the points did not post, restart the game, return to Quick Wins, and check the prize bar. A missing award after that check is an account-state problem suitable for Customer Service, not evidence that the entire event can be replayed.
What to do while an event is still active
The safest recovery strategy is prevention: claim unlocked rewards immediately instead of waiting for the final minutes. Use this sequence whenever the event timer is running.
- Open the event panel from the game’s current event icon.
- Review every milestone or lap that shows as unlocked or ready.
- Tap each claim control and wait for the animation or confirmation to finish.
- Scroll through the full reward track; do not assume claiming one item collects every item.
- Return to the panel after reconnecting if the game displayed an error or closed during collection.
- Take a screenshot of any unlocked reward that remains unclaimed, including the event name and visible timer.
Claims made near the deadline can be interrupted by a lost connection, maintenance, or an app restart. A screenshot does not extend the timer, but it gives support evidence if the account shows the milestone as earned without delivering the item.

If the event has ended and an earned reward is missing
First separate “I did not claim it” from “I claimed it and it never arrived.” The former is normally controlled by the event deadline. The latter may be a delivery or account synchronization issue that support can investigate.
Use this support workflow
- Write down the event or offer name and the approximate time you earned or attempted to claim the reward.
- Restart MONOPOLY GO completely, then reopen the event or reward area if it is still visible.
- Verify that you are signed in to the account that completed the event. A different login can look like a missing reward even when the original account received it.
- Capture screenshots showing the milestone, timer, reward state, player identifier if displayed, and any error message.
- In the game, open Menu → Settings → Customer Service.
- Search the Help Center for the relevant issue. If the article does not resolve it, choose “Chat with us” to create a support ticket.
- Describe exactly what was unlocked, what was received, and what remains missing. Attach the screenshots and identify the device and account context if requested.
Customer Service is the authoritative route for an account-specific correction because only the publisher’s systems can inspect event flags, claim history, and delivery records. A third-party website cannot reopen a closed milestone track or alter the server timer.
Why a Monopoly GO reward link may fail
External reward links have a different failure pattern from in-game milestones. A link can be valid for one account and unusable for another, or it can stop working after a publisher-controlled expiration or disablement.

When retrying a link, use the device on which MONOPOLY GO is installed and make sure the browser handoff leads to the same signed-in account. No outside service can extend an expired or publisher-disabled link.

Some paid or limited offers include their own post-expiry behavior. The Shield Ventures FAQ answers a specific question with: “No, once the offer ends, you will get a reminder popup to collect all your rewards.” If you bought an offer governed by that rule, reopen the game and look for the reminder popup after the offer closes.

This is not a general MONOPOLY GO recovery guarantee. A reminder popup for one offer does not establish that ordinary event milestones, tournament prizes, Quick Wins points, or every partner reward will wait for you after expiry. The offer’s wording and in-game presentation determine whether the exception applies.

A quick decision guide
The event timer is still running
Open the event panel and claim every unlocked item now. For Quick Wins, finish the task and press “Tap to Claim!” before the 24-hour window or the 1pm UTC reset.
The event ended, but Racers says rewards carry over
Open the next Racers round and look for the unopened lap reward. Claim it before that round’s final deadline. Do not treat the carry-over wording as permission to replay the prior event.
The event ended and there is no stated carry-over
Assume the normal claim window is closed. Restart the game and verify the account; contact Customer Service only if the reward was visibly unlocked, purchased, or otherwise recorded as earned but never delivered.
A purchased offer ended
Check for the offer’s documented reminder popup. If it is absent, use the in-game support flow and include proof of purchase or the offer details available to you.
An external link expired or stopped working
Check account, device, browser, eligibility, prior redemption, and publisher status. If the link is genuinely expired or disabled, no third party can revive it.
Common mistakes that make rewards look lost
- Closing the claim animation before the server finishes recording the award.
- Completing a Quick Wins task but forgetting “Tap to Claim!”
- Checking at local midnight instead of the published 1pm UTC reset.
- Opening a reward link while signed in to a different game account.
- Assuming an unopened Racers lap reward can be collected after the final Racers event ends.
- Expecting a paid-offer reminder popup to apply to ordinary milestones.
- Using a third-party “recovery” page that cannot change Scopely’s account data.
The practical rule is simple: claim during the active window, document anything visibly earned but undelivered, and use the in-game Customer Service → “Chat with us” route for account-specific investigation.
