Probably, yes. If your region and platform provide a full voice localization for the language you want, change the game or platform language before launching the replay, install the language pack if the system requests one, and then use Campaign resume or mission select. Activision confirms which languages include dubbed dialogue, but it has not published a replay-specific voice-language switch or identical menu instructions for every platform.
That means the practical method is an inference from Modern Warfare 4’s global language support, not a formally documented per-replay feature. Which Modern Warfare 4 languages include voice acting?

The regional Spanish labels are distinct: Español (AL) and Español (EU) are separate entries. Selecting one does not imply that the other voice package is included. The same caution applies to Simplified Chinese versus Traditional Chinese: the former is listed as fully voiced, while the latter is listed as text and subtitles only.

What “replay in another language” actually means
Modern Warfare 4 includes a single-player Campaign and is sold for multiple platforms. Activision confirms the language packages for the game, but its current support information does not describe a language option attached specifically to an individual replay, mission or save slot.
In practice, the language setting is likely applied at the game or platform level. You change it, let the required files install, then launch the campaign and choose Resume or mission select. If the title supports separate audio and subtitle selectors on your platform, those controls may allow combinations such as one language for voices and another for text. Activision has not promised that every platform exposes those controls, so do not assume that English voices with Japanese subtitles—or any other mix—will be available until you see the options in your copy.
How to replay the campaign in a different voice language
Use this sequence before starting the mission you want to replay. The exact names of menus differ by platform, and Activision has not published a single platform-by-platform path.

- Choose a language with full localization. For spoken dialogue, select one of the ten full-localization entries in the table above. Arabic, Polish, Russian and Traditional Chinese are not listed as dubbed languages.
- Change the game or platform language before launching the replay. Look in the platform’s language settings or Modern Warfare 4’s language, audio or manage-content area. Some systems apply the setting globally; others present optional language downloads for the individual game.
- Install the requested language pack. If a download prompt appears, allow it to finish before opening Campaign. A language that appears in a store or settings list may still require an additional package and free storage.
- Start Modern Warfare 4 after installation completes. Do not judge the result from a pre-existing menu alone. Enter the campaign far enough to hear spoken dialogue and confirm that the new voice track is active.
- Use Resume, Continue or mission select. Select the previous campaign save or the mission you want to replay. This is the practical replay route inferred from the game’s campaign and language support; there is no published confirmation of a dedicated “language for this replay” command.
- Stop and correct the setting if the voices are unchanged. Exit to the platform or game language settings, verify that the package finished downloading, and relaunch the title. If the desired language is not offered at all, continue with the regional-availability checks below rather than repeatedly restarting the same installation.
Can you use one language for voices and another for subtitles?
It may be possible, but Activision does not establish it as a universal feature. Activision lists voiceover, text and subtitles as localization components; it does not state that every platform lets players select those components independently.

When your version displays separate audio and subtitle menus, use the controls that are actually present. For example, you might see an Audio Language selector alongside a Subtitle Language selector. If there is only one Language setting, changing it can affect menus, subtitles and voices together. Do not treat the presence of a subtitle language as proof that a matching dubbed track exists: the partial-localization languages demonstrate why those are separate capabilities.
Why a language can be missing from your copy
Regional availability
Activision says language availability may be limited by region. Two players with the same game name can therefore see different download choices if their editions were distributed for different markets. A language listed in the global support information is not a guarantee that every regional SKU includes its files.
Platform differences
Modern Warfare 4 is sold for multiple platforms, and each platform can handle optional language content differently. One may offer a downloadable language pack, another may tie the package to the store edition, and another may place the control in the game’s own settings. Activision has not documented identical behavior across platforms, so a menu path that works for one system should not be presented as universal.

Edition and store listing
If the language does not appear in the language selector or download list, check the platform store listing for the region in which your edition was purchased. That listing is the relevant place to verify whether the package is supplied for that edition. Do not assume that changing a menu setting can add files the edition does not provide.

Download or storage state
A language option can remain unavailable while an optional content download is paused, incomplete or blocked by insufficient storage. Finish the platform’s download process and confirm that the game reports the language content as installed before launching Campaign. Activision does not publish a standard download size, so reserve enough free space for whatever package your platform specifies rather than relying on a universal number.

This distinction answers the most common point of confusion. Japanese, German (shown by Activision as Deutsch), French, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Korean and the listed Spanish, Chinese and English variants are candidates for voiced replay only where the platform supplies the full package. Arabic, Polish, Russian and Traditional Chinese can change the written presentation without giving the campaign a newly dubbed soundtrack.

Activision’s current language information does not say whether changing language preserves save progress, unlocks, checkpoints or mission-select status. It also does not state whether a language change creates a separate profile or save set. Consequently, treat save behavior as platform-dependent rather than guaranteed.

If the game presents a warning about profile or save compatibility, follow that warning instead of assuming a language change is harmless. Activision’s language list does not establish that a replay must begin a new campaign.

How to troubleshoot an unchanged or incorrect voice track
- The option is not listed: Verify the region and edition in the platform store listing. The language may not be supplied for that market.
- Only subtitles changed: Confirm that the selected language is in Activision’s full-localization list. Partial-localization languages do not include a listed dubbed track.
- The game still uses the old voices: Close Modern Warfare 4 completely, confirm the language download is complete, then relaunch before entering Campaign.
- The download will not start: Check free storage and the platform’s optional-content or manage-game screen. The official information does not provide one universal package size or installation path.
- Separate audio controls are missing: Your platform or edition may apply one language setting to all components. Activision has not confirmed independent voice and subtitle controls everywhere.
- Mission select is unavailable: Enter Campaign using the normal Resume or Continue option first. Activision’s language guidance does not document a special replay menu, so the game’s ordinary progression rules still apply.
Planning a replay by language
If you want Japanese, German or French voices
Check that the game identifies the requested language as available in your region, install its package before launching, and use a full-localization entry. Japanese, Deutsch and Français are all listed by Activision as having voiceover, text and subtitles, but the listing does not override regional or platform restrictions.
If you want Arabic, Polish, Russian or Traditional Chinese
Set expectations for a text-and-subtitles experience. These four languages are listed as partial localization, so changing to one should not be used as a way to obtain a newly dubbed campaign. You may still prefer the menus and subtitles in that language while retaining whatever voice track your edition provides, subject to the controls exposed by the platform.
If you want English voices with foreign subtitles
Look specifically for independent audio and subtitle selectors. Activision’s information does not guarantee that this combination exists on every platform. If the menus offer only a single language field, the game may change all supported components together.
