Short answer: official information confirms that Minecraft Dungeons II lets you apply and upgrade enchantments from a personal library, and that the Blacksmith can upgrade equipment or reroll its built-in buff. It does not confirm whether you can salvage weapons or refund, remove, or reassign applied enchantments. Those mechanics remain unverified, so don’t assume the first game’s rules apply.
What you can do with weapons and enchantments
Minecraft’s official gameplay-systems overview describes a library-based enchantment system. You collect Enchant Books, add them to your personal library, then use the Enchantsmith to apply an enchantment to a gear slot. Enchantments can also be upgraded over time.
That gives you more control over choosing enchantments, but it is not the same as a respec: the official description does not explain whether you can remove an applied enchantment, reclaim its cost, or move it to another item.
The sequel also expands combat slots from six to twelve, separates armor into helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots, and adds talismans with passive bonuses. Those are confirmed customization options, not evidence of a salvage or refund feature.

What the Blacksmith can change
In its Gamescom preview, Xbox Wire says the Blacksmith can raise owned equipment to the highest power level currently available and reroll an item’s existing buff for a new one. The preview describes an upgrade fee, but gives no exact price or details about what happens to enchantments already applied to the item.
A buff reroll is therefore a separate documented adjustment, not proof that the Blacksmith can respec enchantments. The preview also does not say the Blacksmith can salvage equipment.

Can you salvage weapons?
Not established. The official materials cited here do not confirm a weapon-salvage command or explain whether salvaging returns currency, resources, or enchantments. Without an authoritative current source, there is no reliable salvage procedure or return value to give.
Can you respec or refund an applied enchantment?
Also not established. The Enchantsmith applies and upgrades enchantments from your library, but the available official description does not say whether an applied enchantment can be removed, refunded, or reassigned while keeping the weapon. Treat those as unanswered questions rather than assuming library access means an existing enchantment can be recovered.

Is Minecraft Dungeons II available now?
Minecraft announced that Minecraft Dungeons II launched on September 29, 2026. The announcement lists Steam, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2; the official FAQ also lists Windows. Check the relevant store or FAQ for current platform and regional availability.
