Yes. You can usually bypass the WARDOGS tutorial by treating it like a live match and leaving it from the pause menu. There is no documented, dedicated Skip button from BULKHEAD; the method is a player-reported workaround and may not behave identically on every PC.

How to skip the WARDOGS tutorial

Use this sequence after the tutorial loads:

  1. Launch WARDOGS and enter the tutorial.
  2. Press Esc to open the pause menu.
  3. Do not move your character. Wait approximately 15–30 seconds.
  4. Choose Leave Match when the option appears.
  5. Confirm that you want to leave if WARDOGS displays a confirmation prompt.
  6. After returning to the main menu, join a normal server.

The key detail is waiting while remaining still. Leave Match may not be visible immediately, because the tutorial is initially presented as an active match rather than as a conventional one-click onboarding screen.

What to do if Leave Match does not appear

Give the tutorial time to finish loading first. If the button is still missing, close the pause menu, open it again once, and wait another 15–30 seconds without moving. This refresh often makes the option appear.

A crash, infinite loading screen or frozen client is a separate stability issue, not evidence that the workaround was entered incorrectly. Restart the game and try the sequence again; if the session repeatedly locks up, complete the tutorial instead of repeatedly abandoning a broken session.

Skipping versus completing the tutorial

Leaving is most useful for experienced players who want to reach a live server quickly. Completing the tutorial is the safer choice when you are new to WARDOGS, want the intended controls explanation, or need reliable progression and achievement credit.

Choice Time to a live server Progression and achievement certainty Onboarding access
Leave Match workaround Faster once the menu option appears Less certain; the method is not documented as a guaranteed official feature You skip the initial instruction, although the main menu’s Learn to Play entry remains available according to a player walkthrough
Finish the tutorial Slower Safest option for completion tracking and achievement credit Full first-time instruction

The available player guidance does not establish every reward or completion-flag consequence, so do not assume that leaving grants the same status as finishing.

Why WARDOGS may show the tutorial again

Different computer or installation

A different PC may ask you to run the tutorial again. The workaround is not necessarily a permanent account-wide skip; local setup, installation state or the game’s onboarding check can cause the tutorial to reappear.

Achievement requirements

Skipping can prevent the This is WARDOGS achievement from being awarded. If that achievement matters, complete the tutorial at least once rather than relying on Leave Match.

Leaving is not the same as completing

The game can return you to the main menu after you leave, but that does not prove that all tutorial objectives were recorded as complete. Treat the action as a way past the introductory match, not as a guaranteed replacement for every completion flag.

Where to find the tutorial later

Leaving does not permanently remove the learning material. A player walkthrough reports that Learn to Play remains available from the main menu, allowing you to revisit the instructions after joining a normal server.

Is this an official WARDOGS feature?

Current player-facing guides describe the behavior, but BULKHEAD has not documented a guaranteed tutorial-skip option. In practical terms, the answer is “yes, you can often leave,” rather than “WARDOGS has an officially supported Skip Tutorial setting.” Menu labels, timing and behavior can change with updates, so use the exact option shown by your current build.
