Game Pass Ultimate prices depend on market and date
Prices have changed and differ by country. Microsoft’s published worldwide schedule listed the US price for new Ultimate members as USD 16.99 before a scheduled change and USD 19.99 after it; those are historical figures, not a statement of today’s price. Microsoft’s price-change schedule gives the applicable context.
Later changes show why location and date matter. Xbox Wire reported that the France price changed from EUR 26.99 to EUR 20.99 per month on April 21, 2026. Tom’s Guide reported the US price falling from USD 29.99 to USD 22.99 per month that same day; that is secondary reporting, so check the live Xbox checkout price for your account and region before comparing an offer.

- Redeemability: Confirm whether the offer works for an account with active Ultimate or requires the subscription to expire first.
- Duration and total cost: Verify the months actually credited and divide the full price by that duration to compare cost per month.
