Santa Dogg was available as a free Outfit in a present during Fortnite’s Winterfest 2024, but the event’s final unwrapping deadline—January 7, 2025, at 9 AM ET—has passed. Epic said the presents’ items might later become available in the Shop; that announcement does not confirm Santa Dogg is currently for sale.
How Santa Dogg was available for free
Epic Games included the Santa Dogg Outfit among the cosmetics in Winterfest 2024 presents. To access the Cabin during the event, players opened the Snowflake tab in the Lobby of any Fortnite experience and unwrapped presents there. Epic’s Winterfest 2024 announcement, published December 20, 2024, said a new present was available each day through the event’s end.
The deadline to unwrap presents was January 7, 2025, at 9 AM ET. Because that window is over, the Cabin is no longer a way to claim the reward.
Can you get Santa Dogg now?
Epic said in its Winterfest announcement that items inside presents were not exclusive to the event and “may become purchasable in the Shop at a later date.” This described a possibility, not a confirmed return date or current listing. The announcement does not establish whether Santa Dogg is available in the Item Shop now.

What to know before looking for an offer
- Santa Dogg was a digital Fortnite Outfit claimed through an in-game seasonal present, not a physical product.
- The Winterfest Cabin redemption deadline has passed; a seller claiming that a physical purchase or outside code grants the Outfit is not supported by Epic’s event announcement.
- Do not rely on third-party offers promising the Outfit. Epic directs players to its official properties for legitimate offers.
