Can Pokémon HOME send Pokémon back to Bank?
There is no documented HOME-to-Bank transfer method. The supported connection runs in the other direction: you start in Pokémon Bank and move Pokémon into HOME. Pokémon Support’s connection instructions describe that Bank-to-HOME process.
How to transfer Pokémon from Bank to HOME
A paid Pokémon HOME Premium Plan is required for a Bank transfer. Pokémon Support says a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership is not required. Choose the method that matches your access to a Nintendo 3DS:
With a Nintendo 3DS
- In Pokémon Bank on the 3DS, select the Pokémon or boxes you want to move and choose “Move Pokémon to Pokémon HOME.”
- In Pokémon HOME, display a Moving Key.
- Enter that key in Pokémon Bank within three minutes to begin the transfer.
Without a Nintendo 3DS
- Make sure the Nintendo Network ID used with Pokémon Bank is linked to the Nintendo Account used with Pokémon HOME.
- Start the transfer from Pokémon HOME and follow the prompts.
This method moves all Pokémon in Bank at once; it does not let you choose individual boxes.

When does Pokémon Bank service end?
Pokémon Support says Pokémon Bank service ends on February 26, 2027, at 03:00 UTC. Bank-to-HOME transfers will also stop when the service ends. If you have Pokémon in Bank that you want to keep using through HOME, complete the supported transfer before that deadline.
