Borderlands 4 SHiFT Codes: Active Codes and How to Redeem Them

GamesRadar’s October 7, 2026 tracker lists the Borderlands 4 SHiFT codes below as active, but the list has not been confirmed against a current official Gearbox announcement or live-tested. Code status can change, and eligibility may vary by account, game, platform, or region. Submit a code through the official SHiFT redemption interface to check whether it works for you.

Which Borderlands 4 SHiFT codes are active?

The codes and rewards in this table were listed by GamesRadar on October 7, 2026. Treat “active” as the tracker’s status on that date, not a guarantee of redemption. Codes may expire, be game-specific, or be limited to one use per SHiFT account.

Source for the listed codes, rewards, and expiry dates: GamesRadar’s Borderlands 4 SHiFT code tracker, updated October 7, 2026. Gearbox’s guidance says SHiFT codes can be time-sensitive and game-specific; each may be redeemed once per SHiFT account. See Gearbox Support’s SHiFT redemption guide and the official Borderlands announcement distributed through Steam.

How to redeem Borderlands 4 SHiFT codes

You need a SHiFT account and must link the platform account you use to play Borderlands 4. SHiFT account creation is free. Gearbox’s official guidance describes two redemption routes:

What Golden Keys do in Borderlands 4

Golden Keys open Golden Chests, which award randomized gear. That means a key does not promise a particular weapon, item, or rarity. PC Gamer’s July 2026 guide identifies Golden Chests at The Launchpad, Carcadia, Belton’s Bore, and The Lockaway; see its Borderlands 4 Golden Keys guide. The official announcement also cautions that the loot is randomized.

Why a Borderlands 4 SHiFT code might not work

• It expired or is for another game. Tracker status can change, and some codes are game-specific.
• It was already redeemed. Codes may be limited to one redemption per SHiFT account.
• Your platform account is not linked. Check the account under Gaming Platforms and make sure it is the account you use to play.
• The wrong game or platform was selected. Follow the redemption prompts and verify your selections.
• The code was entered incorrectly. Check each character and try again. Gearbox says the website reports when a code is invalid or expired.

Where to find future SHiFT codes

Gearbox recommends following Borderlands social channels for current codes and checking Borderlands emails for rewards. GamesRadar’s tracker also points to announcements from Gearbox and Randy Pitchford, but a community-tracked listing is not itself confirmation from Gearbox. Check an unfamiliar or time-sensitive code through the official SHiFT form before relying on it.
