Capcom’s Resident Evil Remake Trilogy bundle launched digitally on November 22, 2024—not as a new 2026 release. It packages Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition, Resident Evil 3 and its Classic Costume Pack, Resident Evil Resistance, and Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition with The Mercenaries. When did the bundle launch?
Capcom announced the Resident Evil Remake Trilogy on November 22, 2024, saying it was available on digital storefronts. Which platforms are listed, and what is the Xbox One limitation?
Capcom lists PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam) for the bundle. That platform list does not mean every included game or edition works on every listed system: Capcom specifically warns that Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition is not compatible with Xbox One. Should you buy the bundle or the games individually?
Capcom says the included items can also be purchased individually and advises buyers to check each title’s store page to avoid duplicate purchases. If you already own one or more of the games or add-ons, compare the bundle contents with your library before checkout. The reviewed information does not establish a stable, cross-platform total for buying all items separately, so whether the bundle saves money depends on your existing library and your current local storefront prices.
