Capes’ official review page displays 3,110 reviews and a strongly positive overall rating, but those are seller-hosted figures—not an independent product assessment. The comments cover device-specific skins and other accessories, and they also include reports of application problems, imperfect fit, and color differences. Read them as individual buyer experiences and check reviews for the exact item and device you are considering.
What Capes’ review page shows
On its official customer-review page, Capes displayed 3,110 reviews as of October 8, 2026. Its rating breakdown was 71% five-star, 21% four-star, 5% three-star, 0% two-star, and 3% one-star. These figures are the totals and distribution shown by Capes itself; they have not been independently audited and do not establish that reviewers represent all buyers. View Capes Reviews.
What customers comment on
The reviews are attached to particular products rather than presenting a single assessment of the whole catalog. The page includes comments on MacBook skins and wraps, a Canon battery-grip skin, Sony camera skins, a Logitech mouse skin, a Google Pixel skin, a phone case, and a MagLock car mount. Positive comments mention appearance, perceived quality, and fit; critical comments describe application trouble, edge alignment, and differences from product images.
Application effort
Some comments describe application as easy or manageable with patience; others report bubbles or dust trapped underneath. On a MacBook Air 13 M2 2022 skin review, customer Nikhil D. wrote, “I Messed up 🥲,” describing bubbles and dust after application. That is one reviewer’s experience, not a controlled test or a finding about every skin.

Fit and finish
Fit reports vary: one reviewer mentions imperfect borders, while another describes a good fit. Since products are designed for specific devices, check the precise model named on the item and look for comments about its cutouts and edges rather than assuming a review for a different model will apply.
Color and appearance
One displayed camera-skin review says the color looked darker than the site images. This is a single buyer’s comparison, not evidence that all products differ from their photos, but it is relevant if an exact shade matters to you.

How to use the reviews when choosing an item
- Match the exact device: Compare the model and generation in the product listing with your device. Reviews for another model may not tell you how its cutouts or borders will fit.
- Look for item-specific details: Give more weight to comments about the same product and device than to the page’s overall star distribution.
- Consider application: If you are concerned about bubbles or dust, read the application comments and assess whether the process sounds comfortable for you.
- Check the finish in context: A report about color, appearance, or edge alignment can flag something to investigate, but one comment cannot establish a general pattern.
- Review current purchase terms: Check the seller’s current return or replacement terms before ordering; the review page figures do not establish those terms.
Are Capes reviews independent?
No independent evaluation is established by the page information summarized here. The star total and distribution are displayed on Capes’ own site, and the visible comments are customer reports tied to products. They can help identify what individual buyers noticed, but they should not be treated as verified testing or as proof that every buyer will have the same experience.
