What counts as an eligible balance

A request must reach at least US$100, described in the rules as 100 eligible Sweeps Coins. Being below that threshold means the request cannot yet be processed. The rules also permit handling or payment-processing fees, so the amount ultimately received may not equal the headline balance if a fee applies.

Redemption requirements in the current rules
The Sweeps Rules version 12.6, last updated July 20, 2026, put several conditions around a prize request:
- Eligibility: You must satisfy the age, location and account requirements in the current rules.
- Eligible currency: The requested amount must be eligible Sweeps Coins, not Gold Coins or Splash Coins.
- Playthrough: Sweeps Coins collected through listed free or promotional methods must be played at least once; the sponsor may require as many as 20 plays.
- Verification: The sponsor must verify both your eligibility and the potential win.
- Minimum: The request must be for at least US$100 or 100 eligible Sweeps Coins.
- Frequency: The rules limit an account to one request per day.
- Daily cap: The sponsor reserves a US$10,000 daily redemption limit.
- Expiry: Collected Sweeps Coins expire 90 days after the account holder’s last login, according to the current rules.
These are rules-based conditions, not a promise that any particular game session will produce a prize or that a request will be approved.
Identity checks and why a displayed balance is not approval
Cider’s sponsor can request government-issued photo identification, a biometric facial scan, proof of address and Social Security number validation. Those checks can occur before a prize is approved or paid. A winning-looking screen or an amount shown in the account does not establish that the sponsor has verified the win.
Use matching personal information throughout the account and payment process. If your documents, address or account details conflict, verification can be delayed or the request can fail. How payment is supposed to work
The rules state that payment is made in U.S. dollars to the financial account or online wallet used to purchase Gold Coins. If that route is technically impossible, the sponsor may ask you to nominate another bank account. The sponsor reserves discretion over the payment method, so the final route is not necessarily your preferred wallet.
Processing may take up to 30 days, and the rules expressly say that timing is not guaranteed. Verification, security and fraud checks can extend the wait, particularly for larger requests. There is no supported basis for promising an instant, next-day or typical payout time.
Step-by-step: making a redemption request
- Confirm your location and age. Check the live Sweeps Rules and the eligibility notice in your account. You must be at least 18 or the applicable age of majority, whichever is higher, and participation is void where prohibited.
- Separate the currencies. Confirm that the amount you intend to request is eligible Sweeps Coins. Gold Coins and Splash Coins cannot be converted into a prize.

- Reach the threshold. Wait until you have at least 100 eligible Sweeps Coins, equivalent to the stated US$100 minimum.

- Choose the available payment route. The rules generally point to the financial account or online wallet used for Gold Coin purchases, with an alternative bank account possible when the normal route cannot be used.
- Submit one request. The rules allow one request per account per day. Keep a record of the amount and submission date.
- Allow the stated processing window. Processing can take up to 30 days and is not guaranteed. A request may take longer while security or fraud checks are completed.
Can you play for free and still qualify?
Yes. The Sweeps Rules prominently state: “NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.”

The rules describe daily rewards for verified accounts and no-cost promotional giveaways. Availability, limits and any playthrough condition can change with the particular promotion, so read the offer’s terms rather than treating a displayed reward as immediately redeemable.

A compliant mail-in request is stated to receive two Sweeps Coins. The request requires detailed information, including a unique code and a handwritten card. The site says the exact wording to copy is generated dynamically in the account dashboard. Follow the current instructions exactly; an incomplete or incorrectly worded request may not qualify.
What a purchase does and does not do

The July 20, 2026 Sweeps Rules list U.S. participation with exclusions for Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee and Washington. They also list Canada, excluding Ontario and Québec. You must be 18 or the higher applicable age of majority, and participation is void where prohibited.

There is a geographic wrinkle: the Terms describe nonredeemable Splash Coins for users physically in California and New York, while New York also appears in the Sweeps Rules’ excluded-jurisdiction list. The rules mention a US$5,000 New York per-entry-period maximum, but that clause is not an eligibility promise and should not be used to infer that New York residents can redeem. Check the live rules and the in-product location check at the time you play.

Who operates the service and why the names differ
The documents assign different roles. The Terms identify Mystic Mirror Studio Limited as the service provider. The homepage says Aevorix Play Inc is authorized to act as the U.S. payment agent. The Sweeps Rules name Relaxing Moonlight Games Inc as the sweepstakes sponsor or promoter. Those descriptions should not be collapsed into a claim that one company performs every function.
One section of the published rules refers to an account with “Hiwingo,” an apparent naming inconsistency. Treat that stray reference cautiously and rely on the current Cider Terms, Sweeps Rules and in-product notices when identifying the account or sponsor.
Common mistakes that stop a cash-out
- Trying to redeem Gold Coins: They are entertainment tokens and cannot win or be redeemed for prizes.
- Counting every Sweeps Coin as withdrawable: Acquisition-method coins need the required playthrough and may face up to 20 plays.
- Ignoring the US$100 floor: Requests below 100 eligible Sweeps Coins cannot be processed.
- Assuming verification is automatic: Identity, address, biometric and SSN checks may still be outstanding.
- Expecting instant payment: The rules allow up to 30 days and provide no timing guarantee.
- Using an excluded location: Eligibility is jurisdiction-specific and can change when the rules change.

Responsible-play limits
Cider’s Responsible Social Gameplay policy, version 1.1 updated April 29, 2025, says gameplay is entertainment and should not be used to generate income through prizes. Those controls are useful even when entry is free: a prize possibility does not turn the service into an income strategy. Review the current controls because the policy date means settings and labels may have changed.

- Do not treat Gold Coin or Splash Coin balances as cash.

- Plan for a possible 30-day processing period or longer security review.
- Log in at least within the 90-day inactivity period if you want to preserve collected Sweeps Coins.
